You sighed, running your fingers through your (hair length), (hair color) hair as you walked home from another long day of high school.Once you made it home, you greeted your mother, rushed up to your room and opened your laptop.
You pulled up your Facebook page and went to your messages. You had a few spam messages, a few messages from family you haven't seen in a long time, and a few messages from your best friend, Thomas.
He was always there for you and is pretty much the only person that actually cared about you. The only thing that kept you distanced from him is that you lived in America and he lived in the United Kingdom.
But even through this, you guys somehow managed to be close. He's also a well known actor, so he's busy a lot.
Your heart fluttered with every message he sent you, the fact that he made time to talk to you made you feel special. And to him, you were.
He had never been able to imagine meeting such a kind and genuine person, but here you were. You were unique and beautiful, though you didn't believe that when he told you. He'd take a bullet for you, and you'd do the same, but both of you were too scared to tell the other.
But today was different.
You opened your messages between you and Thomas and read his most recent one to you.
I have something important to tell you.
You were slightly confused, but messaged him back, what is it?, anyways.
He messaged back almost immediately...
I like you, Y/n. Will you be my girlfriend?
You gasped aloud and hesitated before responding.
Yes.
He sent you hearts and smiley faces. You did the same back.
Then realization hit and you texted him:
But what if we never meet?
He texted back hurriedly.
Of course we will! Just wait, you'll see :)
You were skeptical, but eventually agreed to make him happy, though doubt still lingered in the back of your brain.
But the thing was, Thomas had an idea. He was planning on flying to the U.S. to meet you. He decided to keep it a surprise and show up at your school.
He booked the flight for the next day and packed, eager to finally meet his reason to live.

It was the next day and you got up to go to school. You are a quick meal after getting ready, and then left.
As you were on the bus, almost to your school, Thomas had just arrived in your town and was leaving the airport.
He took in the beautiful view of where you lived, it so much different than the U.K. and he had always loved it in America.
He called his best friend, Dylan to come pick him up and he gladly did.
Dylan drove Thomas to your school, teasing him about what he was going to do.
Thomas sat with Dylan in the car until lunch, where students ran out the door to sit outside in their friend groups.
And then he saw you.
Everything seemed to go in slow motion as he watched you walk alone to a dark oak tree and sit down.
You pushed some of your hair behind your ear as you pulled out a small book and a pencil and started to draw.
Thomas smiled as he slowly got out of the car and walked the long way around the courtyard, so he could sneak up on you.
Once he got closer, he was about to surprise you until he saw what you were drawing. It was him. And it was absolutely amazing.
The lines were perfect and it looked more like a picture than a sketch.
He watched for a few more minutes before sitting down next to you and saying, "what are you drawing?" With a chuckle.
"Uh... my..." you started, not even looking at him. "Boyfriend."
You smiled at the word boyfriend, and his heart fluttered.
"Where is he?" Thomas asked.
"London," you said, sadly. "Hopefully I'll get to meet him one da-"
You finally looked up and saw his face.
"Thomas?" You almost shouted, surprised.
"Hey, Love." Thomas said, putting his arms around you.
You hugged him back, tears threatening to fall from your eyes.
"What are you doing here?" You asked.
"I wanted to meet you."
He pulled away and looked you in your eyes.
"And I don't regret it."
You barely had the chance to smile before he slammed his lips on yours. You kissed back happily, not caring who saw or what they would think.
All that mattered in That moment was you and Thomas.
A few seconds later, Thomas pulled away and stared at you, grinning.
"I love you." He whispered.
You smiled. "I love you, too."
