Jacob was a young man entering his 20's before Phantom
Jacobs POV:
I wish I could tell you how bothered I am that you don't give me enough attention... I wish I could tell you how much I wish you were there for me when you weren't. See, I'm the one that needs attention...but you don't give me that. But you don't so why do I bother...Mom, dad, why did you have me? My brothers and sisters get all your attention, so did you forget about me? I bring home awards, trophies, I brought home the gold. You've never been impressed when I give you both my all, but when my siblings bring home silver and bronze, you act as if they just cured god damn Cancer! I'm done with it. Since I can never get your attention, I'm leaving the city, better yet the country.
A/N POV:
With that being said, Jacob packed his bags and left. The following dialogue is an interview with his parents, Mr and Mrs. Witts.Mrs W: "Jacob was the quiet one. Always kept to himself, went straight up to his room after school and such... I've never even heard him talk about any boys at school. He may have been quiet, but a mother knows everything. I was always proud of him.
First born, first place in every event he was in, but he would want us to show it. I remember meeting him after a tennis tournament, I was at the car, smiling bright, and he was walking, frowning, as if someone had scolded him. Didn't even say hi. I tried...as a mother...I nurtured, cared, loved, and took care of my children. And with the kind of money we had, I'd say we did pretty damn good. But, nobody's perfect...
I wish I could've done better. His father tried to help. He came to every event of his, tried to talk to him, and all he did was shut his father out. We tried. We all tried, even his siblings, but there was only one he'd open a little to. His second sibling Kei. I'd catch them talking a little sometimes, but it would be around birthdays and holidays. But Kei was in an accident with a big truck and was diagnosed with Amnesia.
Didn't remember anything him and his brother shared nor talked about. After that, Jacob was very possessive over everything he owned. No one could get in, everything was leaking out.
Mr. W: My son was something special. He always brought home the gold, straight A's on every report card, co captain in sports, you name it. I didn't take it well when I found out he was gay, but I still accepted him.
I can't say I was a good father, I hardly had a father figure on my own. I was always hard on Jacob because I wanted him to push beyond his limits and become something...how should I put it...greater. His mom was a soft one of you know what I mean *wink wink*.
Haha, but she was a great mother. She cared for all of our children. Especially Jacob. But she had a little help with Kei being the only one who really bonded with Jacob. Its a shame that bond went away. Maybe our family would've been a little different. After that he was never the same. Of course Kei still remembered us, but he forgot all the bonding he had with Jacob. It was hopeless. Jacob was never the same, stayed away from us and such. I really wish he would have changed.
