Erik’s POV
I growled and barked as I pawed at his door. The hairs on my back standing up, I was on another’s territory and my wolf didn't like it. He wanted to be back on his own territory, on land that wasn’t another werewolf’s property.
Martin opened the door an angry look on his face, I pushed him to the side and ran up to one of the room and changed back pulling on my shorts. I walked back down and tried to control my anger as I glared at him. “Where is she?” I growled there was a faint trail of her scent in the house, but it smelled off like it was placed weirdly in the house, some on the door, couch and nothing upstairs or near the bathroom or kitchen only in the front of the house, like it was blown in.
“What the hell are you thinking!” He roared at me. I growled again, “Where is she?” I snarled again. He puffed up his chest and took a step towards me, trying to be intimidating but he forgot that I was fuelled by anger which instantly gave me the upper hand.
“I don’t have her!” He growled back at me, his face red with anger. His answer nearly brought me to the ground, he didn't have her... Taking a deep breath I calmed my shaking body enough to think more clearly.
“Why is her scent in your house?” I hissed through clenched teeth. He looked confused and sniffed the air, he looked shocked at finding her scent in his house. “I didn't...” he muttered trailing off as he walked around sniffing everything.
I lost everything, if he didn't have it that meant Edwin had her. “Someone is framing me,” Martin growled. I just looked at him and shook my head. “He has her,” I said and changed mid-stride, he was going to die a painful, slow death! I thought as I ran towards Scott and the other where they were nearing Edwin’s mansion. I faintly heard Martin shift and following behind me.
Ryan’s POV
I woke up a few minutes ago, and since then I was trying to find an escape, a way out. I tried communicating with Erik or the others but it was like the connection was lost and the bracelet that was buried in my skin was starting to ache, a numbing pain coming from it.
[Ryan, you are the cure, the peace-bringer. Hear our voices and focus on everything you are.] The voices said in my head, they were the same voices from the cave I was in, where that purple mist wrapped around my hands and were Seth ran away, scared of it. I still don’t know what that mist does.
[I don’t know how...] I said to them losing all hope. [Believe in yourself, lose yourself to your full wolf and power, don’t think just act.] They said in a chorus. I nodded my head and gave into everything I always kept bottled up, I let the anger, pain, hate, fear, every negative emotion take me, control me.
I never felt something this strong before, my eyes turned black, my hands started forming that purple mist, it wrapped around my hands and up my arms. A burning, raging fire grew at my finger tip and my toes and crawled up into my chest, I wasn’t myself anymore.
I stood up, my skin burning, the purple mist growing the more confidence and power I felt growing. I yanked hard on the chain around my leg and I watched it dissipate. I wasn’t in control anymore, it was like the stronger better part of me was in control. I walked over to the door and touched it with the purple mist, it turned into dust and I walked down the hallway.
The guards and others in the hallways scattered, fear in their eyes as I smiled sadistically at the pleasure I felt from their fear. Someone yelled out my kidnappers name in fear and ran off. I walked out of the house, my eyes still black and my body surrounded by the purple mist, a pain started up in my wrist and I looked down at the bracelet, I focused on it and it broke into pieces. I watched my skin heal in mere seconds.
