3. The Sailor Guardians - A New Guardian

Sakura stood in front of the fountain at the park, waiting for Usagi's friends, Mamoru, Usagi, and Chibiusa to show up to bid the small child farewell. As Sakura thought about the small child leaving, she felt the same sharp pain in her heart that she felt when she learned Mamoru was Usagi's boyfriend.

"Good morning, Sakura." A soft voice greeted her. Sakura looked to her left and saw Ami with the rest of Usagi's friends behind her.

"Oh. Morning Ami." She greeted back then looked behind Ami. "Good morning Rei, Makoto, and Mina." The greeted her back as they gathered around her.

"Are you sad to see Chibiusa leave as well, Sakura?" Ami asked. Sakura nodded, feeling herself about to cry. "So are we." Ami confessed and the other girls agreed with her.

"I know it may seem silly or strange, but I feel like saying good bye to Chibiusa is like saying good bye to a piece of myself." Sakura admitted, tears threating to leave her eyes and roll down her face.

The sailor guardians all looked at each other, in both sadness and remembrance as they remembered what they discussed last night after leaving Sakura's apartment.

All the sailor guardians gathered at their base without Mamoru there since he offered to watch the small child and let her spend the night at his apartment, seeing as it was her last night.

"Usagi's twin?" Luna, the guardian cat of Sailor Moon, questioned as the sailor guardians told Luna and Artemis about the events prior. "I never knew you had a twin, Usagi. Why did you never mention her?"

Usagi pouted and crossed her arms like a child. "It's because she's hardly home and acts more like an adult, so I naturally forgot about her." This answered resulted in a smack to the head by the sailor guardian of Mars. "OW! What was that for, Rei?!"Usagi cried.

"That's a very mean and horrible thing to say and do, Usagi!" Rei responded and the others nodded their heads.

"The strange thing about her was she was completely different than Usagi."Mina stated, making the two cats look at her.

"Different?" Artemis, the guardian cat of Sailor Venus, questioned. "Different how?"

"Well her personality for one." Rei answered. "It was completely better than Usagi's." This caused Usagi to cry once more.

"Yeah. She was all proper and polite." Makoto responded, adding to Rei's statement.

"Her hobbies and interests for second." Ami said. "She had any knowledge books, spiritual items, and various flowers."

"Don't forget about all the shiny and expensive items!" Mina cried, making everyone sweat drop.

"Then her appearance." Makoto said. "She looked exactly like Chibiusa, but older."

This caused the cats to look at Makoto. "She looked exactly like Chibiusa...but older?" Luna asked, making all the sailor guardians nodded their heads. "That's odd."

"Do you think she might be another guardian?" Rei asked. "Or the true Princess Serenity?" Rei teased, making Usagi cry more.

"Why would you say something so mean, Rei?" Usagi cried.

"We don't know yet, but we know she cannot be from the further future since she's Usagi's twin." Artemis said.

"Well know when we see her personally tomorrow when we go with you guys to head to the future with Chibiusa." Luna said and all the sailor guardians nodded their heads.

Sakura started wiping the tears from her eyes and felt something paw at her leg. She looked down and saw a white cat with piercing green eyes and a yellow crescent moon on its forehead. Sakura sniffled a little and kneeled down, gently petting the cat's fur.

"Well hi there." She greeted the cat as it purred and rubbed its head into her hand. "You are such a gorgeous cat." She praised, making the cat look back at Mina, smirking.

That action done by Artemis caused Mina to growl softly at her cat. "He sure is." Mina growled through her teeth. "His name is Artemis."

Sakura smiled softly and looked at Mina as Artemis climbed in her lap. "He really is a handsome cat, Mina." She praised. "You are so lucky to have such a unique cat."

Mina blushed softly. "Oh stop it. You're making me blush." Mina giggled as the other sailor guardians smiled softly.

"I know this might sound crazy, but I feel like I have met all of you before yesterday." Sakura said, looking at the girls. She looked down as Artemis meowed and smiled softly, scratching his head. "Even you, Artemis. I just don't know when or where." The girls looked at each other before Ami spoke their thoughts.

"Like maybe in another life." Ami offered and Sakura looked at her.

"Hm. Yeah." Sakura said.

Everyone's face froze as they looked at each other, images appearing rapidly through their each of their eyes. First a white palace, then five guardians in sailor uniforms, a princess with twin pigtails in a flower field, the princess with a guardian with the same hair style, and the princess holding a crystal.

The images ended and the sailor guardians looked at each other, shifting the gaze to the girl in front of them. They witnessed her eyes filled with shocked and confusion as she visibly shook while holding Artemis.

"W-what was all of that?" Sakura asked, still shaking. The sailor guardians looked at each other in worry and kneeled beside the shaking girl.

"We'll explain later, Sakura." Makoto said. "But right now, we need to look normal because the others are almost here." That got Sakura to nod her head and compose herself. All the girls smiled as Sakura stood up and stood up with her.

"Sakura!" A young voice cried. All the girls turned around to see Chibiusa running towards them, more towards Sakura.

Sakura smiled and felt the tears come back to her eyes as she kneeled down and let Artemis down, almost falling backwards as Chibiusa ran into her. Sakura hugged the small child, crying softly as the small child did the same.

"I thought you weren't coming, Sakura." The small child confessed, making the older girl hold her tighter and closer.

"Of course I would come, Chibiusa." Sakura stated with a smile.

Soon a bright light shone, coming from Usagi's brooch. "What's going on?!" Rei cried as the light got brighter.

The light got brighter and brighter then suddenly disappeared. Once the light disappeared, the sailor guardians and Tuxedo Mask looked at each other in shock to see they had transformed into themselves without even making themselves transform.

"W-We transformed?" Rei asked. "But how?"

"We're not the only ones to apparently." Luna stated as she jumped down from Sailor Moon's arms. "Look!" She ordered, pointing her paw in the direction of Chibiusa and Sakura.

The guardians and Tuxedo Mask looked in the direction of Luna's paw, eyes widening in surprise at the sight. A woman in a unique guardian outfit was standing tall and hugging Chibiusa.

Her guardian outfit was all white. Her bow, scarf attached to her bow, and boots were a soft yellow and white. She wore a white choker with a yellow moon in the middle. She wore a tiara with a silver crystal in the center of it. Her hair was decorated in the same fashion as Sailor Moon's, but with yellow in place of the red. In place of her bow on her back was a larger bow with see-through material. In place of her shoulder selves were also see-through material selves. In the center of her bow was another yellow and white heart.

They looked at the new guardian in awe and confusion. Chibiusa finally pulled away from her chest and looked up at the new guardian that was looking down at her with a pair of familiar eyes.

"Hey! Who are you?!" Cried Sailor Moon, getting ready to attack her with the others following her. Chibiusa smiled and hugged the new guardian.

"Sakura! You're a Sailor Guardian?!" Chibiusa cried, making the others look in shock as the new guardian looked down at her, confused.

"A sailor what?" Sakura asked as she tilted her head in confusion as the small child in her eyes continued to smile.
