Tina's P.O.V
Me and Newt sat quietly at the table, waiting for Queenie to come back from the grocery store.
I snuck a few glances at Newt. His eyes, his freckles, his smile, everything about him was perfect. He looked up at me.
"What?"
I quickly looked down, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks and fiddled with the bracelet Queenie had given me, "Oh nothing." I murmered, smiling to myself.
I looked at Newt's case which was laying on the floor.
"Do you want to go into the case?" Newt asked, following my gaze. I nodded as I stood up, Newt following me.
I unlocked the case and propped it open in my room.
Now is the chance, just tell him how you feel!
I stopped, making Newt almost crash into me and turned around to face him.
"Newt...I just wanted to tell you that-um-I love you..." I half whispered the last three words, scared to meet his gaze.
Newt's P.O.V
My heart stopped.
"I love you too." I blurted out, turning red almost instantly.
Tina's P.O.V
My breath caught in my throat.
We both leaned closer and closer until we were both millimeters apart, and i could feel his breath on my lips.
I closed my eyes.
"Teenie! Im home!"
Me and Newt instantaniously moved apart. Newt jumped into the case, followed by a crash at the bottom.
I quickly turned around, smoothing my hair and skirt, closing the latches on Newt's case and putting it on my bed.
Queenie walked in.
"Hey Tina-MERCY LEWIS YOU TWO ALMOST KISSED?!?!" She shreiked.
Im pretty sure I went completely red so I covered my face in my hands.
Seconds later, I heard the case open, and Newt peeked out, going red himself.
"I'll just leave you two be." She said with a wink and exited the room.
Newt climbed out of the case and sat down next to me on the bed.
There were a few moments before Newt broke the silence.
"Queenie always has to ruin moments doesnt she?"
