Chapter one

Jacks POV

Okay, It's my first day at school, I'm in highschool, and I'm the new student from Ireland. My mom and I live a few blocks away so I walk to school. When I get there, I walk in and look around. I see SO many people. I walk towards the school, but half way there someone shoves me to the ground. "move it fuckwad" a boy says in a Swedish accent. I get up and he pushes me back down. "Fook off ya bitchy piece of shite" I say a little quieter than I wanted to. "HEY! Fuck off Felix! he didn't even do anything to you!" I here a deepish voice say. I look up and see a boy with bright red hair push the bully away. "th-thank y-y-you" I stutter. "no problem! I hate bully's. Hey, I've never seen you before, are you new?" the boy asks while helping me stand up.. "Y-Yeah... It's my first day here." I say. "Cool! OH! Hi I'm Mark!" He says. "H-Hi Merk... My names Seàn, but my friends call me Jack" I say, my accent thickening when I say Mark's name. By now my face is bright red. Did I mention I'm gay? "So what class are you going to?" Mark says. "Social Studies with Ms.Taylor" I say. "Okay good! that's where I'm going! But let me warn you, she can be a little.... mean" Mark says. "Okay, thanks for the heads up" I say. I look at Mark to see his cheeks are light pink. But he's probably not blushing because of me.

Marks POV

I know I'm blushing right now, but how could I not? This little Irish green bean is so cute. His lime green hair in his face, Oh and the way he says my name with that cute Irish accent. "M-Merk" Jack stutters. "Y-Yeah?" I stutter. "Where's the classroom?" Jack asks. I grab his hand and lead him into the school. "This way!" I say energetically. I look back at Jack and his face is deep red. When we get to class I let go of Jacks hand and say, "Okay, when we get in there don't talk to anyone and sit beside me". " O-Okay M-Merk" Jack says. I open the door and hold it open for Jack.

Jacks POV

"Look its the gay faggot Markimoo" says the same boy from earlier. Wait... he's gay too?! "Shut up Felix" Mark says. "Markimoo?" I ask. "It's just what some of my friends call me, but Felix is not a friend." Mark says. "hehe my nickname back in Ireland was Jackaboy" I giggle. I sit down next to Mark and he grabs my hand again. "M-Markimoo" I say. Mark blushes. "Y-yes?" Mark stutters. "W-Why did that 'Felix' kid call you a gay faggot?" I ask. Mark let's go of my hand. "S-Seàn... I am gay... this is why I didn't want you talking to anyone... I knew they would tell you... I haven't talked to anyone in years because everyone bully's me... I'm guessing your gonna bully me now too" Mark says looking at the floor. "Merk... I'm not gonna bully you" I say grabbing his hand. "Actually I can't bully you... because I'm gay too" I say. "Okay students! We have a new students!" Ms.Taylor says. "Seàn? Seàn Mcloughlin? where are you?" She asks. "I-I'm right h-here" I stutter. "Well aren't you a cute little bean!" Ms.Taylor says. Mark let's out a low, protective growl. "Something wrong Fischbach?" Ms.Taylor says in a growling tone. "Fuck you" I hear Mark whisper. "WHAT WAS THAT?!" Ms.Taylor yells. "Fuck you" Mark whispers again. "YOU LITTLE GAY FAGGOT IF YOU DON'T SPEAK UP I'M SENDING YOU TO THE PRINCIPAL TYLER'S OFFICE!!!" Ms.Taylor yells. My eyes start to tear up. If this is how everyone treats gay kids, then what will they do to me. Mark must have seen me because he stands up, grabs my hand, and walks me out of the room. We started walking towards the school entrance. Once were outside we here Ms.Taylor yell from the doors, "GET YOUR GAY ASSES BACK HERE YOU FAGS!!!". Now, tears were streaming down my cheeks. Mark picks me bridal style and keeps walking till were off school grounds. " W-where are we g-going?" I ask. "My house, I live alone so nobody will yell at us for not being at school" Mark says. Mark stops in front of a huge two-story house. "Woah... you live here!?" I say in amazement. "Y-Yeah!" Mark says. He puts me down on my feet and grabs the key that what around his neck. He walks up the the house, slips the key in the door, and opens it. "come on in!" Mark says excitedly. I walk towards the house and then step in. "Woah!" I say in amazement. "Do you like it?" Mark asks. "Yeah!" I say. "Hey, you wanna watch a movie?" Mark asks. "Sure!" I say excitedly. "Wait a minute... Schools over! I'm gonna go call my mom and tell her I'm gonna be at a friends house" I say pulling my phone out of my pocket. "Okay, I'm gonna go get some popcorn" Mark says. I type in my moms number and hit the call button. "Hello?" My mom says. "H-Hey mom!" I say. "Seàn William McLoughlin!!! Where were you! The school called me and said you ditched school during first bell!" my mom yells. "M-Mom the teacher was-" I tried to say but my mom cuts me off by saying, "But your teacher NOTHING! Your coming home right now!" My mom yells. "NO! I'M NOT COMING HOME SO YOU CAN TREAT ME LIKE THIS!!!" I yell. "Seàn get your ass home! NOW!" My mom yells. "NO I'M NEVER COMING HOME!!!" I yell and throw my phone. I look up and see Mark was watching from the doorway. "Seàn? What was all that?" Mark asks. I fall to me knees and cry. "I can't go home... I won't..." I cry. Mark walks up to me, gets on his knees and hugs me. "It's okay! It's okay... Do you want to stay here with me?" Mark asks. "mhmm" I hum. "Come on, let's go pick a movie" Mark say. "Okay" I say. Mark walks over to the TV stand and opens a drawer that was on the bottom of it. I see what looks like a millions movies. "What kind of movie do you want to watch?" Mark asks. "HORROR MOVIES!!!" I say excitedly. "How about 'IT'" Mark says. "What movie?" I say. "IT!!" Mark says. "What is... I'm dumb" I giggle realizing what he meant. "Okay! let's watch IT!!!" Mark says jumping onto the couch. I walk over and sit beside him. We turn off the lights and start to watch the movie.

A few minutes later...

I got scared at one point and I jumped then clung to Marks arm. Mark wrapped his arm around me and I cuddled closer to him. I was starting to get tired and ended up falling asleep on Mark.

Marks POV

I look down at Jack to see he has fallen asleep in my arms. I turn the movie off and lay down with him on my chest, and soon I fall asleep too.
