The Activist: A Short Poem

If one day you woke up with a clear view of the world and all it has to offer. Like a light has been lifted and you could only see the good, sweet beauty of our world. To some, a heavy  burden has been lifted, and as I am one of those people I seek only to protect our love and growth of evolution, prosperity, and technological advancement. And if war shall enter our flawed utopian society then let it be, for no man, woman, or family should have to suffer from the gaping jaws of vanity, no soul should bow to the gates of death. I therefore stand against the peoples who stand only for the good of themselves. Some might say I'm a dreamer, hope seeker, but they are wrong. I am more.

I am an activist.
