The clock in the corner could be heard. It's ticking making everyone in the room restless. E tapped her foot restlessly. The body on the table stayed still as the clock ticked on.
"She better wake up, we already risked too much staying here this long." E said, raising herself from her previous position leaned on the wall. The others watched her saunter to the table holding the young girl. The sense of authority she carried when she spoke and walked was an almost visible aura that radiated around her. Even the strongest and most feared men would falter in her presence. Although her confidence and sense of authority were not the only reasons why one might be intimidated by her. She reached a finger to brush a strand of the girls hair back. Much to everyones surprise, except for the two men hiding in the shadows, the girl suddenly sat up, gasping for air. One of the smaller men, who had been by her side rushed over to her, holding her hand as he helped her sit up slowly. She slowly looked at him, not recognizing him at first.
"D, it's ok. I'm here with you. You're safe." The man, who goes by Suga, said. She squinted at him, her memories coming back to her slowly. The haze in her mind clearing and she could finally make out her friend holding on to her for dear life, as if she would slip away again.
"Yoongi?" She asks, her voice sounding almost foreign coming from her soft lips. The spark of recognition in her eye exciting Yoongi, causing him to engulf her in a desperate hug.
"Hey kid. I'm glad you're ok. I'm so so sorry I got you into this." He said, trying to keep his tears locked beyond the dam of his eyes to protect himself from the intense, judging glares of his comrades. The girl, D, found her head flooding with cruel, unwanted memories and her look of recognition gradually changed to one of fear and confusion.
"Yoongi, where am I? Wha-wha-" She couldn't form coherent sentences due to the flashbacks swarming her head.
"D you need to run. I should have never gotten you involved in this. Pack your things and get as far away from here as possible." Yoongi told her, holding her shoulders. She was frightened to say the least, but managed to stumble up the stairs to her room. She rummaged through her closet, throwing various clothing items in her bag. She was almost done when a crash startled her. Yoongi burst through he door.
"They're here. I thought we had more time. You need to go. Now. Go through the back, and I'll cover you." He said, pulling a sleek, golden gun from his waistband and running back down the stairs.
"Yoongi!" She screamed before returning to reality, the flashback becoming a painful migraine.
Her screams of agony echoed through the large, and quite empty room. One of the men, BamBam ran inside.
"We gotta go. They are getting close, and we can't fight them with her here." He said before rushing to get the car ready for a quick getaway. E glared at Yoongi, and although his main focus was D, he was not oblivious of it. She sighed before shouting orders to clear the place out. The men who hid in the dark corners silently blended into the shadows and disappeared while the others dashed away, their shuffling footsteps fading away. E looked back at Yoongi.
"I hope she was worth putting us all in danger. Hurry and get her ready to leave. We wont wait for you. If you're not in the van, you stay to deal with them." She said, putting emphasis on 'them.' Yoongi grabbed the girl, who had ceased her cries a short time ago and was reduced to a small whimpering as her memories of the past day swarmed in a frenzy through her head. He carried her to his room so he could gather his belongings. He picked up those same golden guns from the flashback as D watched him pack his things. Those perfectly crafted weapons, decorated with a crimson feline and, barely noticeable, two small B's hand-engraved in the handle. Upon seeing them, as if a match was struck, the memories burned through the girls head once again.
