Alexander POV
I wake up very early once again and start getting ready for school. I pack up my bag, get dressed and walk out into the kitchen to have some breakfast. My emotions are currently a mixture of anxiousness and excitement.

I know very little about my new school, and I was told I would be getting a tour by the principle first thing this morning. As I sit down to eat my cereal, Patrick walks in. He pops some bread in the toaster and waits for it to cook. Once it's popped he grabs it and takes a seat at the other side of the table.

"I'm apparently driving both of us to school this morning." He says very bluntly almost bitterly. "So be prepared, we are leaving in 20 minutes."

I nod and finish my cereal. Patrick seems to have something against me, he doesn't enjoy my presence for some reason. I've found in the two days I've been here, that it's better to just brush it off as if it never happened. Over the course of last night and this morning I've managed to pretty much get the hang of my phone. Considering I've never really used one before, I was rather proud of this accomplishment.

We pack up and leave for school. Patrick's driving is pretty reckless and I felt incredibly unsafe during the whole drive. We arrive and he immediately acts as if he doesn't know me, walking in front and as far away from me as possible. I walk into the huge two story school and look for the front desk.

Thankfully I don't have to search very far for it is right across from the front entrance. There I see what I presume to be the principle waiting for me. He's a man much taller than I am, probably in his mid forties maybe early fifties. He's bald and is wearing a suit, he bares a broad smile. I walk up to him and start to speak.

"Hello sir! I'm Alexander Hamilton, I'm the scholarship kid! I was told I would be getting a tour of the school." He turns from his conversation with another boy and looks me in the eyes and hands me my class schedule.

"Welcome to Liberty High Alexander! It's very nice to meet you. My name is George Washington. But you can call me Mr. Washington. This is Aaron Burr, is you ever need anything, you can go see him and he'll help out as best he can."

I smile as he gestures to the dark skinned boy standing next to him. Aaron finishes his conversation with Mr. Washington and leaves. Washington then turns and we continue speaking for a while till he decides to start showing me around. We decide to start in the upstairs hallway. He went through and pointed out the different classes and who teaches them. Upstairs has all the basic classes like math and science and geography. We head back down the staircase and get to the first floor.

He takes me around and points out the library, other class rooms such as the art room and computer lab and the cafeteria. Just as we were about to continue down the hall to what was apparently the gym and music room, a boy with curly brown hair and dozens of freckles goes running past and Mr. Washington stops him.

"Mr. Laurens why aren't you in class?" The boy freezes in front of us.

John POV
As I'm running towards the front office to get a late slip, I pass by Mr. Washington and some other guy. Mr. Washington scares me and causes me to stop.

"Mr. Laurens why aren't you in class?" Mr. Washington says in a loud booming voice.

"I uh- Lafayette was really sick, so I was helping him out. He just left and I was gonna get a late slip at the front desk." I explain hoping he doesn't go yelling after me. I didn't lie so I don't know why he would, but with Mr. Washington, you never know.

I look over to his right and lock eyes with the boy standing next to him. He has silky dark brown hair and bright brown eyes. He's only slightly shorter than I am. I can feel myself blushing a bit. His skin is slightly tanned, and he has a confident look to him. He's wearing a baggy black t-shirt, and blue jeans. His shoes look very worn and have a few noticeable holes in them.

I desperately rip my eyes away from the guy and realize he must be the new kid everyone has heard rumours about. I wonder where he's from and why he's moved here. Mr. Washington sighs loudly disrupting my thoughts.

"Very well, you may go to class. Don't bother taking a slip, tell your teacher I gave you permission to return."

"Ah-uh- thank you sir." I say nervously as I start heading towards the staircase and towards my math class.

Alexander POV
The freckles boy turns and starts walking towards the staircase. His untied shoe laces almost tripping him up. I turn to look at Mr. Washington.

"That was Mr. Laurens. He can be a bit of a trouble maker at times, but in general he's very kind and quiet. Now we should finish this tour and get you to your classes."

John POV
I walk into math class and explain to my teacher what happened. He dismisses me and tells me to take my seat. I take my seat at the back of the class in front of Eliza. The class is currently trying to solve a math problem, so I take this time to talk to Eliza.

"I just saw the new guy with Mr. Washington" I say happily turning to face her.

"Really? What's his name? Where's he from?" She exclaims obviously hungry for gossip.

"I dunno, I just saw him. G was giving him the tour."

"So this new guy... Is he good looking?" She says with a huge smirk.
"I-uh I don't know, I mean he's not bad looking..." I say quickly being taken back from the question.

"Do you have a crush on said new kid John?" Eliza asks raising one eyebrow and smirking.

"Liz, I just saw the dude, I don't even know him. I'm not gonna get a crush on some dude I've only just seen once. Besides he's probably one of those popular kinds of kids." I say shrugging. I know I don't have a chance even if he wasn't one of the popular kids.

Class seemed to drag on forever. I was the only one at my table. I had to solve the group problems alone because Laf wasn't there. Math class proceeded normally until we had about 25 minutes left. There was a knock at the door. The teacher walked towards the door and opened it. I heard him speaking with Mr. Washington and proceeded to see the same boy walk into our class.

Oooh cliffhanger... Sorta. Things are starting to get interesting! I had lots of fun writing this chapter! Once again I hope you all enjoyed! Till next time!
