The play

"Hey, Sakura."

"Hi. Ino"

Sakura and Ino met at the school gates they smiled at each other.
They were later joined by Hinata and Temari.
"Hi guys, sorry I'm late", Tenten said as she came running to them.
"Hey",all the girls greeted her.
"Hey you know Shikamaru was saying that there would be a special announcement for our class . . . maybe related to the school's summer festival."
"Class rep. said that?. . . .well Neji nii-san was also saying something like that...", Hinata said trying to remember.
"Leave it Hinata, let's go we might get late.",Tenten said as they ran to their class.
"Bye.", Temari said as she was of a different class , it was her last year while for Sakura and others it was their second.
"Bye Temari-chan".
The four girls entered there class.
"Sahanaroo! Sensei is late again"Sakura sighed.
"Ohayo Sakura chan", Naruto and Sasuke came to Sakura.
"Eh... Naruto ..Sasuke Ohayo",Sakura warmly greeted them.
"Hn.",Sasuke didn't say anything.
'Stupid block of ice , can't he even greet me?', Sakura thought as she smiled.
"Ohayo Naruto kun",Hinata said almost like a whisper but enough to be heard,"You too Sasuke kun.
"Ohayo Hinata chan",Naruto greeted with a bright grin on his face while Sasuke didn't say anything.
"Sakura chan, the festival is coming soon only a week is left and the other classes have already made preparations like the last year should we hold the coffee house?"Naruto asked her.
"No. Because of your stupidity, you didn't call anyone to help us and you also spilled coffee all over me and I ended serving them, No way I'm gonna do that again."Sasuke scolded him.
"Hey shut up. Sakura chan made me wear the maid outfit."
Both scoffed at each other.
"Guys will you calm down ",Sakura said sighing,"well Naruto we can't do that , it was such a failure last time and it's so hard",.…she looked around and said "I was thinking of is doing the fireworks but Lee had already planned it with Tenten and Neji…... then there comes the food store but it is also under Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji."
"There's nothing left for us? and by the way, what about Kiba, Hinata and Shino?" Naruto said looking a bit down.
"Well Hinata told me that they were doing some …… I don't know … stuff.
And don't worry Naruto we'll ask Kakashi sensei."Sakura patted his back.
Sasuke looked uninterested as always.

Kakashi came into their class.
"Sensei! You are late , there are barely 15 minutes left",Ino said while everyone agreed.
"Sorry, there was a meeting about the festival, so let's just discuss about your roles.",Kakashi said smiling under his mask.
"Roles?",all the students asked confused looking at what their sensei was gonna say.
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell that this time we are the ones doing the play.", Kakashi smiled.
Silence for a second then.....
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt??!!'', whole of the class yelled.
"That means no food",Ino and Chouji's face fell.
"This is gonna be troublesome", Shikamaru sighed,"what a drag."
"Problem solved Sakura chan",Naruto grinned at Sakura.
"Maybe this time you'll get the role of Snow White. Dobe."Sasuke smirked.
"Oh. shut up Teme."
"Yeah Naruto I hope so at least were now gonna do something than to just roam around , but let's see."Sakura sighed.
"But we thought so much of the fireworks to glow just like our youth."Lee said tears flowing like a river.
"We were not so excited Lee but you were"Tented held Lee.
"What a-are we doing s-sensei?" Hinata asked .
"Well we already know what roles you'll be assigned to and we're doing ………… ROMEO and JULIET."
Silence for a second again and then....
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt???!!",the class screamed again.

"What a drag!"

"Be my youthful Juliet,Sakura chan."

"Sakura's mine."

"U-um ...... Naru-Naruto"

"Dobe."

"Class keep quite",Neji stood up, "I know its stupid, but listen to sensei".
"Thanks Neji",Kakashi sighed,"well this was the principal's idea and our class have never done a play , so this time no stalls, they'll held by the other classes and no buts, this is Lady Tsunade's order ……… OK lets start with the roles ... first Romeo..."
Meanwhile Naruto and Lee winked at Sakura and she sighed.
"……Sasuke Uchiha".
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt??!!", here the class go, again.
Sasuke was frozen at his place soon he stood up, "I'm no-".
"Sit down Sasuke Uchiha, you can't deny the rules.",Kakashi eyed him.
Sasuke sat in his place embarrassed.
Girls squealed.
"I'm gonna be the Juliet",almost every girl said.
"And the Juliet's role goes to….... Sakura Haruno."Kakashi said smiling.
"No waaaaaaaaaay!!" Sakura yelled in surprised.
The girls angrily eyed at Sakura while the boys cursed Sasuke.
"Why does Teme gets Sakura", Naruto's face fell.
"Sakura-san.......", Lee's tears started flowing like a river.
Sakura just sat their looking towards Sasuke who was frowning, this made her feel bad as Sasuke was least satisfied hearing her name.
"Sensei, ..... well I think someone among Hinata or Ino should do it, they are beautiful and more girly."Sakura said while she looked at Sasuke.
Sasuke was just wondering why she said that.
"Sorry Haruno san but they have their own roles, now no arguments while I write other's names and roles on the blackboard."
Sakura sat as she looked down.
The roles were written.

Juliet's mother- Tenten.

Juliet's father- Neji Hyuga.

Romeo's father- Sai.

Romeo's  mother- Ino Yamanaka.

Juliet's cousin- Subaku no Gaara.

Juliet's fiancé (Paris)- Naruto.

Romeo's friends- Kiba and Lee.

"All right Hyuga san , decide the other's while class rep. come with me to decide the arrangements."Kakashi pointed at Neji while Shikamaru stood and followed Kakashi, he then continued, "and some extra help from some of you, Yamanaka san please take care of the outfits , Sai san prepare some art club students for the set and all and Hinata san please ready your piano for the love scenes  last scenes and tell the music club to look into the other musical things and the rest,.. all of you for your rehearsals go to Kurenai sensei."
"Hai. Sensei."all of them said.
Kakashi went out of the class with Shikamaru and everyone started gossiping.
Ino saw Sakura looking down she went to her and whined, "Do I look like a mom and .....why the hell Sasuke's, well Shikamaru does fit for dad he look like a dad , while Neji should not be your dad."
At this Sakura started laughing Ino was very happy at it Sakura whispered to Ino" well you get to be the wife of Sai."
Ino blushed red at this and covered Sakura's mouth.
"Billboard brow."

"Hehe. Ino pig".

For whole of the day on the class there was gossip and laughs. Sasuke was just normal, well any way no one can read his face. The only one who was quite was Sakura. Ino tried to cheer her but she failed she just didn't understand why was all so gloomy.
The school ended , before the class was gonna dismissed Kurenai came in and announced, "class we are going to start rehearsals after school from tomorrow and your scripts will be given to you, Nara san and Sai san will be staying today till evening do you heard then..., now go."
"Thank you Kurenai sensei.", the class thanked her and went.
Hinata's car came as Neji opened it's door.
"Sorry guys, it seems like I won't be going with you because , I have my piano practice it has been a long time".Hinata waved them goodbye and the car drove to her home.
Naruto , Sasuke, Sakura and Ino started walking to home.
The Uchiha was silent and would glance at the pinkette, she seemed down.
The ones to talk were Ino and Naruto.

"Hey Sasuke next time she'll be mine now I'm happy to be her fiancé, she'll marry me no matter what Romeo does."

"Shut up dobe it's our last time next year there will be some other class to do this crappy play."

"Stop it. You two are sure a handful." Ino sighed.,"and by the way Naruto haven't you read Romeo and Juliet, Paris is not loved by Juliet and he does not get her."

Sakura and Ino started walking to the different way while Sasuke and Naruto went on the other.
"Bye- Bye Sakura chan ,Ino.",Naruto grinned.
"Bye Naruto, bye Sasuke".Ino said while Sakura just waved.
"Now tell me what's wrong?" Ino said as she blocked Sakura's way.
"Nothing Ino it's just ........  nothing",
Sakura clenched her fist.
"Don't lie."
"I'm not lying"
"Shut up and tell me", Ino yelled at her and Sakura started crying.
"I know there's something",Ino sighed.
"Well... Sasuke doesn't seems to be happy about the play he even said it was crappy",Sakura said as she wiped her tears.
"Aw Sakura its gonna be fine he'll understand it.. Now come here".
Ino said as she hugged her friend and they started walking toward their home.
At night Sakura did nothing but thought about the play.
'Romeo ....huh . . . I hope it would be same in the reality' Sakura closed her eyes and she dreamt about Sasuke and her as his Juliet.
