Chapter 1: sacrifice

Elena ran, and ran as fast as she could. She knew not to come here of all places. But she had to do something. To help. To save them.

Elena scurried along the dark corridor, scared for her life. Why would I do this! I'm only 19! And here I am to beg! She kept going, knowing there was no way she would return back to her father without negotiating her new offer.

For them Elena knew what to do.

Finally after scurrying for what seemed like hours through the dark corridor, Elena finally came to a door this is it, it's time.

Elena gathered up all her courage and pushed open the door. But what she saw, no one could prepare her for. Inside were many, hundreds of armed men waiting for a mafia army's arrival. Once they all realised it was only her, all the men lowered their weapons. In the middle of the room was a sight Elena thought she'd never have to see.

She felt like screaming out in pain, letting all her emotions fly free. But she didn't, her father raised her better than that.

"Ah look who's finally here!" Damion, he was their mafia boss, he ran everything, planned everything, did that to them.

Elena wanted nothing more than to beat the crap out of him, but that wasn't what she came for. No. If she could she'd attack straight away but alas, she couldn't.

"I'm not here for war" Elena said finally walking into the room. Damion smirked also walking forwards. It took all Elena's efforts not to kill them all as she heard muffled groans from her poor tied up sister and mother, trying to tell her to leave them. But she couldn't, she just couldn't.

"Let's make a swap" Elena didn't like being the bigger person, she always liked being the baby of the family, which she was, never having to make any giant decisions, like this one she was making now. Well I guess you could call this a sacrifice.
