What No Body Knows; or At Least I Thought 😫🤫

Part 1: The Encounter

I was in my favorite coffee shop " Le café bleu". It was my to- go place to go and catch on my homework.  On a late Monday afternoon, I was supposed to meet my good friend Lizzy at the café but she never showed up; So I sat there with a green tea doing the Chemistry project by myself. Lizzy really never did the projects anyways, so I was used to it. 
       A little while after working on my project I get up to buy a small salad for dinner when all of a sudden I trip and  fall into the arms of the  tall, brown hair, blue eyed jock named Devon.  " woah, easy Kristina . You don't wanna spill your tea on that lovely shirt " he said with a gleam in his eyes; and at that very moment I fell for him. " I'm so sorry for running into you; I just wasn't..... "
" Hey, don't worry about it. "
" ok "
" I realized you are working on the chemistry project Mrs. Natalie gave us. Would you like to come over and work on it. I'm available at 5 after school tomorrow "      Just then my heart skipped a beat.
" Are you sure? I don't wanna intrude on you and your partner. "
" Kristina, it's really nothing. I don't mind helping, and maybe after I can take you to the movies if your down for it? "
" yeah, that would be great ". And just then, that very moment I felt a slight flutter in my stomach. Is this what true love felt like? But why did he choose me, the class nerd? Why didn't he choose a cheerleader? There are plenty of other hot girls out there.
