My name is Jack Punt. I am only eleven! Do you know what I like to do in my spare time? Most people would think a child like me would like playing tag or any other child's game (at times I do) but most of the time I like solving mysteries of any kind! I would play detective a lot, I actually am very observant and my sister says I would make a very good detective if I ever get into the cop carreer or something like that.....
Anyway! Don't tell her this but my friend Dan Kuso invited to to go to some Island called Banguel Island with him for the summer. Fun right? Little did I know that this summer, would be my first ever BIG mystery! I have no idea what I'm going to run into here on this Island. I don't even know where this Island is! Dan said it's somewhere far up North. Wow, that's bound to be cold! good thing I packed my Winter gear just in case. Oh! Looks like that's Dan! I gotta go. Another entry for today written down!
I snapped shut my journal and packed it in my back. I then slung my bag over my shoulder and ran down the stairs. I heard Paige laughing from the porch. "You must be excited!" She mused.
"Yup!" I responded with a big 'ole grin on my face. Dan laughed at me as he stood in the doorway. I laughed myself, I had to admit this was VERY exciting! I had never been anywhere then India and Bayview. Today, I was going with Dan to Banguel Island to spend a few weeks with him at his aunt's house.
"Ready to go?" Dan asked me, I nodded in a very fast motion and ran down the front stairs, doing a back-flip into the back seat of his convertible. Dan laughed at me, shaking his head. "How do you keep up with him?" he asked my sister.
Paige just shrugged. "Eh, I just do, I guess." she responded. "You make sure to look after him and make sure he doesn't get into any trouble, or I WILL kill you!" Paige threatened. I only laughed at that. My sister was very protective.
Dan chuckled. "Don't worry! I'll make sure he comes back in one piece!"
