Maggie's Pov

I felt something soft underneath my head and little snors seeping through my ears. I lifted up my head, my neck soared but it's barable, I meet Dans asleep face with mine. I smiled a bit and got up. I went towards my mom. She noticed my presence and turned her attention to me.

"Hey Mag!" She hugged me tightly and I hugged her back.

"Hey mom, how long have I been out?"

"Awhile actually, it's already 6 in the morning." I looked at the clock and she's right. Wait do I have school?

"Mom do I have school?"

"Yeah you do, but I called the school about the incident, you have until next week to rest and get better. Better wake up Dan though he has school today."

I turned towards Dan and went to his direction. I shook him a bit till he woke up. He groaned and asked me whats wrong.

"You need to wake up, you have school." He groaned in reply.

"Five more minutes."

I sighed, then I thought of something brilliant.

"Okay Dan if you say so, I'll be by the door kay don't go anywhere." I said walking towards the door. Dan replied with a groan and got back to sleep. I went beside the door frame and looked at my mom. She's not looking. I placed my handout and focused on the chair Dans sleeping in and raised my hand a bit. Dans chair then toppled him forward and fell. He scramed and groaned as he hit the ground. He looked around to see who the culprit was but see no one. Confused and tired, he got up and walked towards the door.

"Hey Mag, were you the one who toppled me over?" He asked rubbing his head.

"Nope, was here the whole time. Wasn't I mom?" I asked mom. She nodded.

"I'mma go visit Phil before going home, see yuh Mag." He walked of. I waved goodbye to him and closed the door.

"Maggie, you know how we don't allow you to use your powers outside the house. Just be lucky that your dad isn't here." Mom then scolded.

"It's fine mom, besides I need to practice using these things." I said clutching my fists. I stare at them knowing what I did to Jaiden, I wished I never did that. I hurt her, I made her scared, but she's safe now. I wonder where she is now and the rest of my friends. Are they okay? Did they find new friends? I wish I could see them again. Even it's just a glimpse. I then felt someone touch my shoulder, in shock I heat up feeling my shirt burning a bit. My mom screamed. It was her, oops. I placed out the tiny flame on my shirt and went towards my mom.

"I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine dear, it's fine" it went silent for a little while.

"Can you keep a secret?" Mom then said. I nod.

"You got your powers from me." I stared at her wide eyed and mouth agape.

"Are you serious?" She nodded.

"What powers do you have?"

"Well I have this- she showed me her burnt hand and it heeled within seconds- this- she placed her hand out towards the ground and a flower went in between the cracked floor tiles- and this- she then swirled her hand and created a cloud, she stopped and out comes snow." I looked at her with aww as snow flakes went trickling down.

"Wow, its so beautiful." I then said. Mom giggled and held me closer.

"And guess what," I hummed in responce.

"Nobody knows except you dear." I hugged mom for a good while and retreated.

"Thanks mom for telling me."

"No problem my sweet." We hugged again and stayed there till we fell asleep in our arms.
