The Story (My Unrequited first love)

I stumble at school, books and future on my mind
Never imagine that love is what I will find
Curious, thoughtless, almost dumb in this crazy thing
Butterflies in my stomach only love can bring
At first I thought this foreign feeling is harmless
Because I used to think I am not that hopeless
I watch how my heart played the drum then marched and beat
Whenever this tall knight in shining armor and I meet
He serve as an inspiration for me to be better
My wish is simple just me and him together
I never thought that my dream is impossible
Before I realize my heart is in trouble
Usually our friend teases from being close
They brood we are giving each other some love dose
We both dismiss the idea immediately
But I pray that the feeling's mutual secretly
He once said that he already like someone nice
That someone made my world upside-down and cold as ice
I was hurt but I only kept it to myself
My heart is shattered then turn into an elf
Sorry for the disappointment but I still love him
The tall, dark and young lad who shove me from the dim
I swear I will totally forgot him someday
And yet I know it is a lie in every way.
Author's Note:
I wrote this poem, three years ago. When I was still in love and hurt at the same time beacuse of the guy in the poem. Now, I decided to published my work to celebrate that finally, my heart is healing and I'm moving on. Somehow, if you are in the situation like I was back then, just believe in yourself. :) Everything works together for good. You will find your own hapiness soon. spread the love! :D
