James and Kendall were never the type of 'friends' everyone thought they were. They took naps together, cuddling, one wrapped around the other. No matter what, they always felt secure with each other. Too secure? No. Secure as friends? Well, somewhere along those lines. James was out, and he was bisexual. Kendall, on the other hand, was questioning ever since he met James. Together, they were a remarkable pair.
~(Present Time)~
James reached over to "grab the remote" which is what Kendall at least thought. He actually reached over to grab Kendall's chin, and pushed around his pudgy cheeks. To Kendall, this was normal. James always just grabbed his face and started playing with it, like a child.

"Stop it, you dork." Kendall said as he pushed his hand off, but still kept a hold of it, and started playing with his fingers, almost as revenge.

"And you tell me to stop, geek?" It was almost as if they were two 4th graders, practically flirting. Kendall and James had what you call a, "bromance" but they were afraid to admit feelings for each other, almost ever. They would hug each other, and say that they'd love each other, but that was rarely, and even when they did, if they did it, it'd be awkward because they meant it as more than a "friendly" type of love. James was longing for Kendall to be 'out' as he would say. He was waiting for a moment to just call Kendall his.
After they had quite a flirtatious moment, they just stared into each others eyes, until they realized they were staring, and then they just resumed to whatever they were doing. Which, by the way, was watching TV.
Kendall; Boring (he thought).
James; I want to hold you and call you mine (he thought as well).
James: Kendall? He proceeded to finally ask a burning question.
Kendall: Yes, sweetums? He responded with a dumb little nickname, until he realized it wasn't. There was no turning back. This is not just an awkward situation, this is confrontation.
James: Well - I just wanted to know - I - He continued to stutter his speech. Nervously.
Kendall: Spit it out. He said in a forceful manner, as he started to stand up.
James: Do you like me? He almost shouted out, as if it just fell out of his mouth, like a waterfall, moving fast.
Kendall: Well of course.
James: No more than a friend, I -
Kendall proceeded to walk to the kitchen with a shocked face. His eyes bulging, but his mouth presumably closed after he tried to say something. Words did not come out of the poor boy, whom at this point, was confronted by emotion.
James: Kendall, please.
Kendall turned around, looked James directly into his worried face, and kissed him. Tears starting to form from his eyes. His hands were grasping onto James' face with no intent other than passion. As James tried pulling away, Kendall took dominance and pushed him in for more. After this somewhat long, passionate kiss, Kendall stormed away, out of the apartment, tears in his eyes.
