Oh No!!! We're Still Married!!!

Chapter 21

After a couple of hours. Courtney was still feeling nauseous so she decided to make an appointment with her doctor. 

"Mandy I'm leaving now. I'll be back in a little bit though."

"Ok let me know how it goes."

"Let you know how what goes?" Courtney asked confused

"Your talk with Mark. That's where you're going right?"

"No I'm going to the doctors."

"Why?"

"I'm still not feeling well. So I figured I mine as well go now instead of waiting for it to get more serious."

"Ok well then let me know how that goes when you get back then. Come and find me."

"Ok will do."

"Maybe your pregnant." Mandy says jokingly while walking away. Then it hit Courtney she just might be she was late. She got into her car and decided whether or not to call Mark. She took out her phone and went to his name debating on calling him or not. After a couple of minutes she decided to call. She was waiting for him to answer just as she was about to hang up he finally answered.

"Hello"

"Hey I just wanted to let you know I'm going to the doctor's."

"Why?"

"Cause you we're right I should've listened to you."

"Do you want me to meet you there?"

"Yes just in case----" She said trailing off

"Just in case what?"

"That I'm pregnant."

"You think you might be pregnant."

"Well yeah I'm late. I didn't think about it till Mandy jokingly said maybe your pregnant."

"Ok I'll be there."

"Ok I love you! And I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry too I didn't mean to yell. I was just worried about you."

"I know and that's one of the reasons I love you and glad I married you."

"I love you! I'll see you there."

"Ok see you there."

After about a 20 minute drive she pulled into a parking spot. She got out and started walking in and saw Mark waiting for her at the door.

"Hey." Mark said kissing her.

"Hey let's go see if we are or not." Courtney said taking his hand in hers. They walk up to the receptionist.

"How may I help you?" The receptionist asked while checking Mark out

"I have an appointment my name is Courtney Steeple." 

"Ok have a seat and they'll call you shortly." She said

"Ok."

They took their seats and a few minutes later she was called. They got up and followed the nurse to the back.

"We're gonna have you get up on this scale and check your weight. Then your gonna pee in this cup for me."

"Ok" She said while getting up on the scale.

"125" The nurse said and then handed the cup to Courtney. She went into the bathroom and did her business and left the cup in the bathroom for them to get.

"Right this way. The doctor will be with you shortly."

It felt like they we're waiting forever when in reality it was only 10 minutes and then the doctor walked in.

"Well we found out why you've been sick. Your pregnant congratulations." The doctor said

"That's exciting I'm gonna be a father again." Mark said kissing Courtney's forehead

"Yeah and we didn't even have to try like you wanted to." She said chuckling causing Mark and the doctor to laugh.

"Ok so now that you know your pregnant you might want to make an appointment with your OBGYN. That way they can make sure everything is alright with the baby and you."

"Ok thank you Doctor. I'll call them as soon as I leave here."

"You're welcome and your free to go." So they both shook the Doctor's hand and left. Mark walking her to her car.

"Well I'm gonna go back to work for a couple of hours. I'll see you at home."

"Ok are you feeling better?"

"Yes actually I haven't felt nauseous for a couple of hours now."

"Ok well I will see you later."

"Love you."

"Love you too." He said while giving her a peck on the lips.

20 minutes later and she was pulling up to her restaurant. As soon as she walked in she saw Mandy.

"Well how did it go?"

"I'm pregnant."

"That's amazing news. Congratulations!"

"Thank you I'm so excited."

"I bet. What are you hoping for?"

"To be honest a little boy."

"Aww he would be so adorable." Mandy said chuckling

"Yeah that he will be. Well I'm gonna go finish my work and after I do that I'm gonna go home."

"Ok I'm gonna go take care of these customers that walked in." Mandy said which made Courtney look behind her and she saw her parents and Mark's walk in together.

"Mom and Dad what are you guys doing here?"

"Well we came to eat. What's it look like we're doing?" After her dad said that Mark walks in carrying Rain. Her sisters and his brothers walked in right after.

"Ok What is everybody doing here?" She asks confused

"We came to eat." Mark said with a smirk on his face.

"Well duh I got that after my dad said that but that doesn't explain why everybody is here together."

"Well Mark called all of us and told us you have exciting news to share."

"Really you called them right after I left didn't you. You couldn't wait till later to do this."

"No. I'm just so excited I wanted to share the special news with everybody as soon as possible."

"Ok the suspense is killing us. What is this amazing news?" His mom and her mom ask together

"We're pregnant." They both say together.

"What???" Everybody says at once and then surrounds them in a group hug.

"Mommy I'm gonna be a big sister."

"Yes sweetie how does that sound."

"I can't wait I'm gonna be the best big sister ever."

"Yes you will." Mark said

"Well Mandy is gonna seat you guys I'm gonna go to my office and get my work finished then I'll be back shortly."

"Ok" They all chorused while she was walking away. Except Mark he decided he was gonna follow her. So he put Rain down in a chair and followed her into her office

"What was that?"

"Sharing our exciting news."

"I wish you would've waited or at least told me you were gonna do that. So I wasn't surprised with everybody showing up."

"I know I should've told you I was just excited and wanted everybody to know. Don't be mad at me."

"I'm not mad. I just wish I knew. But I have work to do I'll meet you all out there after I finish."

"Ok I love you! I'm really happy we're having a baby."

"I love you too! And me too"
