Perfection

So there comes a time, when you just have to give up on caring about what other people think of you. A time when you just have to wake up and say today I just won't care.

As children we are shaped and molded by this world to strive for an illusion of perfection. We grow up wired to try and be pretty. To look and act like the superstars and actresses we see on tv. To be as thin as models or curvaceous as or instagram favorites. We get so caught in keeping up with the kardians, that we end up blind to see our selves for what we really are.

Imperfect but Perfect.

You know I believe that all of us have been created for a special purpose. Each person crafted and designed so uniquely as not to mistake one for another. All so different yet all so beautiful... Just perfect.

If you live your life by this world's book, you're gonna have to cheat your way to a passing grade. Because it's an ever changing game. I mean things are changing everyday there's always a new update. The trends, the fashion, what's in what's out, what's beautiful what's not. Social media is always so kind to "show us the answers" Nothing stays the same. So why are you trying to? Why are you trying so hard to be like everybody else? It gets you nowhere but stuck in an endless cycle. Going around and around in circles always chasing the next best thing to fix yourself to change youself. And sometimes if try hard enough you can look the part. You can fit in with everybody else, but don't settle girl. Please don't. Because in the process I promise you'll lose yourself. It's just not worth it

You are perfect. And if they can't see it they are blind. Honey nothing they can come up with could ever hold a candle to you. And I mean that.
