Zayn woke up without Bella, and panicked. He grabbed around and tried to pull himself up his former bed. Memories from the past hit him like waves as his eyes search frantically. He hated this house and everything in it. The ignorant parents, the walls which couldn't talk and prove he was right before Doniya died, he hated the way his younger self ran away from his problems.

How he ran away from the big bad babysitter and hid in the closet of his Star Wars bedroom. He hated how he cried, and cowered away. He should've done something, but he didn't. And he never really forgave himself for that.

But above all..... he hated the incessant sobs that haunted him whenever Jeremy was around.

He wanted to do something- to help her- but it was pointless. He told his parents and they didn't believe him. He knew if he hit Jeremy he'd be the one who ends up dead. He was scared. His parents were in a convention in Las Vegas, leaving the youngest Maliks alone with their babysitter.

He was hidden, along with a 3 year old Waliyha who sat beside him, playing with her dolls and humming to herself lowly. "Wal be quiet, we're playing hide and seek."

"Wait, stay here I'll go find them." Zayn whispers, hushing his little sister. She listened to him and shut her mouth, wide eyes peering up at him in the dark closet.

He leaves the door adjacent to its frame before walking out of the closet. He walked all over his three floor home, looking for his sister and babysitter. "Dee where are you?!" Zayn called out. A loud clanging sound came from the kitchen and he giggled, running to where the sound came from.

"I found yo- Dee why are you crying?" Zayn asked, completely oblivious to the fact that an unwilling, twelve year old Doniyha was pinned against the wall by Mason. All he could see is that his sister was hurt. She was sobbing and slid down the wall, hands over her face. She was shaking, and muttering words. Zayn sat next to her and hugged her as Mason just sat there- watching them.

"Why me?" She cried as though it came as natural to her as breathing.

Zayn presumed he hugged too tight and that she was crying because of that.

"Because I love you.. don't cry. Why do you have a bruise on your neck? Your lips look red."

Doniyha stayed quiet, knowing that if she didn't worse things would happen to her. She sewed a fake smile, knowing that she ran out of string and couldn't patch up both her heart and stitches.

"She's fine, she just burnt herself while curling her hair."

That seemed like a reasonable excuse to an innocent seven year old. "Okay well now you guys can hide and I'll seek. One- two- three-" Zayn said, closing his eyes and placing small hands over them.

"Bella!" Zayn screamed, hands over his ears and eyes closed. If he couldn't see, hear, or feel being in that god forsaken place- then he wasn't truly there. Flashbacks and memories came back and brought him to tears as he waited for Bella impatiently.

"Hold on, I'm coming." She screamed from downstairs, putting orange juice on the tray which held waffles, turkey bacon, and eggs. She walked up the stairs and saw Zayn was struggling to try to stand up.

"Hey what happened Z? I was making you breakfast."

"We need to leave now." Zayn says, looking around at the blue bedroom with planets and stars on the ceiling. His heart broke as he remembers who helped him put those stars on. Doniya, on broad Mason's shoulders, put the stars up for Zayn.

Zayn loved them both dearly when he was young. He looked at them with great respect because they both literally put the stars and planets in Zayn's eyes. Little did he know Mason would be the same one to take the stars planets down, along with Zayn's favorite- the sun.

Doniya was his sun, his light and when she passed away Zayn took away the sun from his lovely exhibit.
