Antonella and Isaac came back from their jog just as Stiles and Jamie waltzed up from the lake. Derek and Scott had called a meeting, deciding that they needed to scout the surrounding woods to make sure there weren't followed by any rogue hunters or any other threat.
"Ok so Ethan you'll go with Jackson, Aiden-" Derek turned to his beta.
"Why do we have to go with someone from the other pack?" Aiden interrupted his alpha.
"Because we have to learn to get along so we can survive. We have to stay here and work together if we are under attack. Also, before I was rudely interrupted," he put most of his attention to Aiden, "Aiden you'll be with Lydia."
"I can work with that." Aiden smirked at Lydia, Jordan clenched, and Jackson looked like he couldn't care less.
"Ryan you're gonna go by yourself. And Mal-," Malia looked up to her cousin, "-You will come with me." Derek continued.
"What are the rest of us suppose to do?" Braeden-one of Derek's human betas and former girlfriend-asked. They weren't together and decided it would be best to stay friends, but they both still had a soft spot for each other.
"Just do whatever you want as long as it's indoors and safe." Scott said looking at everyone and finally resting his eyes on his girlfriend who was sitting on his lap on one of the couches.

"So what grade are you in? 'Cause I don't see you in any of the sophomore classes." Jackson broke the silence after a while with walking with Ethan. Jackson was walking little behind Ethan and now was at his side.
"I'm a junior and same with my brother." Ethan said.
"No he isn't your twin." Jackson said sarcastically and Ethan glared at him. "Sorry, it's kind of a habit to be rudely sarcastic."
"Kind of?" Ethan scoffed and Jackson chuckled. "Never thought I would get a laugh out of the big bad wolf." Jackson and Ethan stopped and laughed so hard Jackson stumbled.
"I'm not that bad." Jackson retorted and got another scoff out of Ethan.
"From what I've heard, I think you are."
"Hey! Who told you that?"
"No one in particular." Ethan choked out of his laugh.
"Do you think I'm the big bad wolf?" Jackson put a serious face back on.
"Well, not much of a big one as Derek." Ethan pointed out.
"That's true." Jackson gave him that one.
"Come on, we have to continue looking around." Ethan made a hand gesture towards the way they were heading.
"Scouting," Jackson corrected and they both chuckled.
