All I Ever Wanna Be (Connor Ball fanfic)

Ch 10: Feeling better.

Lia's POV

After trying out different rides and strolling around different zones, we got a tad tired and decided to take a break and eat lunch. We went to this restaurant called KT's Grill which has an interior of something vintage New York style. Made me feel like I was living in the 40's. We went inside, we looked for an empty table, I looked over to the guys who were sat beside the empty table we found, with me only to be suprised by someone I saw. What the hell was he doing here? I thought. Or maybe I was just hallucinating? But no, it was real. It's really him, that guy. Riley. But it didn't seem like it was only me who was surprised.

"Hey, guys! What are you doing here?!" James exclaimed, pulling out his arms to bro hug them.

"It's nice seeing you too!" Connor joked. No, not Charla's Connor. But Connor McDonough. "Oh hey there!" he waved at me as he saw me. I just smiled. 

Awkward.

It seemed like they already know James' and Tristan's girlfriends because they didn't need to introduce them. But me, well they introduced me to Connor and the others.

"This is Lia by the way." James said. "This is Connor, Toby.." as he pointed out to them "..and this is Riley." he finished.

"I know." I said, shyly.

"Oh you guys know each other already?" James, shocked.

"Well..." Riley started saying.

"Well I don't exactly!" But I cut him off. "I mean, their band are known in my country, so who wouldn't know them?" I laughed. I lied. Connor gave me a confused look.

I didnt feel like they should know about me, and him. Riley. It's  the past anyways. As we wait for our orders, I managed to text Charla.

'Where are you?' Hurry up will you! I sent her.

We're on our way calm your balls. 

'I cant calm silly! Riley's here! And they know them. I mean, James and the others know Riley and the others!!'

What???!!!! Okay okay wait up we're almost there.

I tried to calm down as much as I could until Charla arrives.

"Hey duuude! How are you!" Connor stood up to greet Connor, who arrived hand in hand with Charla.

"I'm great how are you!" Connor replied. Well, Connor Ball replied, when Connor McDonough asked.

"Hey there" Connor M said to Charla as they hugged. "I missed you biggie bro" Charla said to Connor M.

"Wait you know each other?" Tristan asked, puzzled. "But I thought Lia said...?" he looked at me. I looked at Charla. Charla obviously didn't know as she gave me a confused face. I just looked away.

Charla found her place beside me while her Connor sat beside her. "What was that?" she asked.

"I didn't tell them."

"Oh" that's her final reply, end of convo. That's how we talk, she understands me that easily.

Both the bands managed to had a chat since our tables were beside each other. Before You Exit said that they were on a 2-week break after having their last show here in Singapore, the one in the Philippines was the seconnd to the last. Not surprised I didn't know about it, I don't check out on them anymore. They went here in Sentosa just today as the first day of their break but they don't stay here. They were currently staying in Fullerton Hotel. It was really a bit awkward for me with Riley being there. What's worse is that James invited them that we explore Universal Studios together. Well what could I do? I just had a day (okay half a day) with my ex-boyfriend. It wasn't that bad anyways. I had Brad beside me the whole time, making me feel better. Especially when we rode Battlestar Galactica (A/N lets assume the ride is still operating lol). He was holding my hand the whole time. I don't know, he makes me happy. He kinda made me forget we were with Riley.

We went back to our hotel, as the boys of Before You Exit went to theirs. They all promised they'll see each other sometime while they were still in Singapore.

"Hey.." Brad grabbed my hand. We were in our hotel's lobby waiting for the elevator. "Can we.. talk?"

I nodded. We let Tristan, James and their girlfriends get back to their rooms, while Brad and I took a walk outside. We lost Charla and Connor, as always.

"So, Simpson.. what do we talk about?" I nudged his stomach while we were walking.

"I noticed you didnt seem like yourself since we saw the McDonough's. And you denied you know them.. It's fine if it's too personal for you to answer but, why?"

"Why do you wanna know?" 

"Because I care. I want to know why you're feeling down, and I want to make you feel better." he held my hand.

There was something about him that makes me feel better just by him holding my hand. There's really just something about him. So I told him everything.

"Well..Riley. He's my ex-boyfriend. Last year they had a concert in my country. I didn't really know about their band. But I found out that Charla is good friends with Connor. He's like a big brother to her. She was gonna watch and support them and she brought me with her. She introduced me to them and Riley caught my eye. We started talking and went out a day after the concert. But they had to go back to the US the next day. We continued talking through Skype and Facetime, until one day he asked me to be his girlfriend. I even went to Florida, with my family, on my Christmas break, thats when we saw each other again. Things became even better between us, not until a few days after our 8th month. We both got really busy with our own lives.He got so busy with tours, recording, other stuff. He couldn't manage to message me even just a single one a day. I even tried calling him, overseas.I also got busy with a dance competition with my crew. But I still message him everyday. He never answered. We went on like that for a month and a half maybe. Until I got tired. Charla got really worried about me and helped me move on." I stopped there.

"Have you really moved on?" Brad asked. He looked down.

"Maybe I have.. I just felt uncomfortable being with someone who suddenly leaves hanging me in the air without saying a thing."

"It's going to be okay. I'm applying for a part time job of making you feel better." he hugged me.

"Well, you're hired." I joked.

"But seriously, Lia. Just remember I'm always here for you okay? I don't like you feeling like that again."

"Brad.."

"Because you're special to me." he kissed my forehead.

"I feel better when you're with me." I smiled.

A/N

Hiiii I added Before You Exit to the cast because they recently had a concert and I cannot get over it, my inner fangirl is killing me. SO yeah, but maybe they'll only be like extra or s/t. I don't know. I dont really know what I'm writing. It's crappy I'm sorry. 

Oh and Lia's storyline is being developed yay!! Bye!
