The trees surrounded the villa like armies defending their citadel. The armoured trunks reached out in the air protectively.
A bastion surrounded by four towers, the stony structure was strong enough to hold down a large army. Elegant windows are scattered here and there across the walls in a seemingly random pattern, along with symmetric holes for archers and artillery.
A sizable gate with massive metal doors and large crenelations give a safe place to rest in the stronghold and it's the only way in, at least to those new to the city.At this moment a meeting was going on in the great hall, which is a rectangular room between one and a half and three times as long as it is wide and also higher than it is wide. It can be entered through a screens passage at one end and has windows on one of the long sides, often including a large bay window. There is a minstrel's gallery above the screens passage. At the other end of the hall is the dais where the top table was situated. The Lord's family's more private rooms lies beyond the dais end of the hall, and the kitchen, buttery and pantry are on the opposite side of the screens passage.
Sitting on a raised metallic platform Chahel looked very much like the people around him and yes though most were his kids very few could be like him. He looked like a God, with his suntanned body, tall and strong physique, brown eyes. After the death of his father, he was their leader and they had yet to mould his figurine.
He started the session by talking about how trading with Mesopotamia, Egypt and Sumer was helpful in their economy.
" Serenade what is the news from Mesopotamia?"Chahel turned towards a middle-aged man who had been quiet until now.
"They want to trade cylinder seals with us " he chuckled " in exchange of elephant ivory from Middle Asia".
The erupted with laughter after hearing the statement. They thought it to be an impractical demand.
But the chosen leader held a stern face, he thought it could be a profitable deal.
" I guess the demand is not outrageous", he thought carefully.
Their laughter died down and silent whispers could be heard.
" Why do you think so Parama?"
" Brother Adrij seals can be bought at a cheaper rate than ivory," he was trying to maneuver the idea mentally " the Mesopotamians hardly construct anything made of ivory and if they need it, that means they are constructing something new", he smiled inwardly" and if I'm right they will be needing more of it in the future, a good profit for us".
This was a moment for all of them to understand the matter. When they did, they could only praise the Parama or the chosen one.
Next, he dealt with the leader of agricultural products.
There had been recent losses in crop production for which they had come to him. They had been trying to solve this problem of drought for many years since his father had been alive. None of their tactics seemed to work, they were trying to construct a new drainage connecting a few wells to the field for now, for which they might have to uninhabit a few householders and he didn’t want to be brutal. So what else could he do?
” Sir do you think we should summon her here? ” one of his advisers asked, bringing him out of the reverse.
” Not a good idea Chait, she is from the warrior class and she might even destroy our seals out of ire like the last time “, the head priest spoke, he had his body wrapped in Saffron and white fabric.
" I don't think I can bring her back and this week the session is over", he couldn't stand to be with priest any longer than necessary.
Chahel knew their disdainful feeling towards her, the board would never allow him to bring her back. But the question is would she come back? When as her husband he could do nothing to stop her.

"Well, you can't actually mean all of that?" My brother asked when everyone else was gone and we were the only ones sitting there.
"I mean it ", he scoffed at my resistance to bring my wife.
Well yes, screw it! I am the imbecile here, who couldn't stop her, took an oath to turn my back on her and well, so I couldn't her back.
" Maybe I should try instead of you", he gravely stated. He was seriously going to make me insane. " Take an army of foot soldiers with you".
He quirked his brow trying to understand the situation. " You going after a wildcat and I don't want you to be slaughtered, as the said cat has gone rogue for a while".
He burst out laughing " I knew you missed her".
"Start looking for her already", now I am worried, what if she is not the same anymore?
