Years go by. Time passes. People leave and people grow.
Karizma was the new girl in town when she first bumped into Cordelia. All she wanted to do was leave this horrid town. This horrid town away from her friends, mom, and favorite places.
She doesn't know when or exactly how it happened, but now here she is fighting for her town. Fighting against a renovation. This renovation would raise the prices of the houses in the neighborhood. And in addition to that, some of the houses would look completely different.
Karizma knew for a fact that her father will not be able to afford rent if the prices go up. Which is why, here she was with Cordelia, in front of the state capital waiting for her father to walk out and see what the state's response was to their petition.
Karizma believed that it was fate moving here. She had met her other half in this neighborhood. She would even dare say she met her soulmate. Karizma and Cordelia, best friends and soulmates.
