Good Bye....For Now

The pendant suddenly glowed. I magically floated again, and somewhere in my mind, it was like an entire research about P.H.A.N.T.A.S.M. had been layed out. When they were created, who were the founders, their ranks, where they are located, and basically everything found in the book about them.

I slowly descend, the magical glow from the pendant also dying. The three of them stared at me, awaiting for anything I could say about what just happened.

"....Olympia City..... so you came from Olympia City specifically?" I ask and stare serilusly at Nine.

Nine nods.
"But you've seen us work with your own eyes,"
He smiles as if being giddy,"i can tell that you should be on the lookout for a very special message soon"

I look up, amused, " A message....from PHASe?"

Nine nods again and Four snorts, not believing what Nine had just said.
"Lucky you. I wonder if you'll make it" Four bit down a snicker.

Whilst Zero just looked at me with an inscrutable expression, being curious about it himself.

"We'll be going now, and thanks for your help. I really appreciate it." Nine says, "but we cant give you a ride back though, sorry"

"Oh, i guess thats fine. Ill just walk back" i assured.

So, they're really leaving now...

I turn to Zero. "Thank you for jumping in to help before." I smile sweetly. I take out my hand for him to shake. He simply stares down my outstretched hand, and i started to feel silly.

Looking a little bit embarrassed, he finally reaches his own hand to shake mine. His hand a bit larger, enveloping my own.

He smiles, a true and genuine smile, like nothing else Ive seen before. "Yeah, it was fun. Thanks for helping us". I turn to Four and extend my hand too. Zero merely stares at the both of us. But this time..... Four didnt even shake it.

He looks at my hand then looked at me. "Ill shake that hand when we meet again, but i hope not to." He smirks

Pesky little jerk.
And if i mean little, yes. Four is smaller than me. And yes, i am tall. I cant go anywhere in school not having a few  'what are you a giraffe' stares.

My hand was still stretched out, i enveloped my extended hand with my free hand (accepting the fact that i got rejected by a simple handshake) then retreated both of my hands back to me.

"Well, that went well" i whisper. Four couldnt hear it, but Zero was sneakily snickering at my side.

Four pulls Zero to the church entrance, but Zero didnt turn immediately. Its as if he wanted to tell me something.

"Elentiya.....quite familiar" those were the last few words he said to me.

Elentiya.....Elentiya....ELENTIYA??

No matter how i try to remember, i dont remember being Elentiya!

"Come on, kid" Four says, pulling him cometely making Zero move.

Then, they climb on to their rover. With one last glance at me, they show their grateful smiles, well except for Four, then waved at me good bye. And with just a short moment, they were gone.

I didnt know why.....but my chest hurts.
They are not connected to you anymore.
But how come....its as if, that I smile more when im with them.

And a glow came out of the pendant. Then with one blink of an eye, i woke up from the dream, returning to my real....sad....lonely.....boring....reality.
