What is your username?
A. Rosemary_21
When did you join Wattpad? And for how long have you been writing (in general)?
A. I joined Wattpad 3 or 4 years ago, but I've been writing since Kindergarten. (Well, I scribbled in kindergarten, but I called them stories xD)
What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?
A. I'm working on tons of stories at the moment, but the one I've finally picked up after a long hiatus is Circuits. The two main protagonists are Mor and Dagan, who are, you guessed it, Circuits - basically robo-humans created by the government to replace humans in the work force. They're both experiments - though Mor doesn't know she is until Dagan shows her - to see how human is too human when it comes to Circuits. A lot of people don't agree with the experiment, and when things start to heat up, Dagan and Mor aren't really safe anywhere. In the midst of all this Mor struggles with very human emotions - emotions she'd been able to block in the past, before Dagan came and messed her up. They're sort of forced together by their status and then stay together because they're all they have. Neither of them are really prepared for what I have in store for them in the upcoming chapters.
Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?
A. Honestly, I just try and make my stories relatable. Everyone's felt out of place in their own skin before, everyone's been - or at least thought they were - in love before. I try to make my writing believable and real, and to me that makes it a good read. Plus I throw in some bad boys, a few plot twists, and good spelling and grammar (:
Which is your favorite character, in the current story you are working on?
A. Ooh, this is a toughy, but I'd have to say Dagan.
He's kind of an egotistical ass sometimes, but around Mor he's more instinctual than anything. It's not all about him anymore, it's about protecting her, and he'll do whatever he has to to do that. Plus he's rather attractive and sarcastic, something I can relate to.
How many stories have you posted on Wattpad (excluding short stories)?
A. 1 completed story, 3 partially completed, 1 rant book, 1 contest, 1 book for contest entries, 3 prologues I plan to develop on in the future, and 1 collection of poems and short stories. So I guess that's... 4 actual, concrete stories.
Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?
A. One story I've been working on a lot lately is called Lovely Omen. It's the first ghost story I've ever attempted, and it's coming along pretty well. The protagonist is a girl named Chris, who moves into this decrepit old family home with her single mother, older brother, and younger sister. Things were sort of odd right off the get-go, but the longer they're in the house, the worse the activity gets. From disembodied cries in the middle of the night, to kitchen knives hovering over your chest while you're lying in bed. I'm pretty stoked about writing it all.
Another story I consider priority but have kind of put on the backburner isUnearthed. It's a (totally classic) vampire vs. demon story centered around a girl named Sophia King. She moves to this new school in this puny everybody-knows-everybody town, and something inside her just sort of... sparks to life. She unknowingly befriends several demons and encounters a very blood-horny vampire just on her first day, and soon she uncovers the secret that no human before her has ever been let it on. She's hunted by vampires, protected by demons, and that thing inside of her is only getting stronger. Soon she'll realize that that thing, that power, has the ability to end a millennia-long war - and change everything for her, again.
Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?
A. I have done small critiques before, don't really offer them regularly though.
Do you write for yourself or for the readers?
A. For myself. Definitely. I love it when people read my stories and enjoy them, but I'd keep writing even if they got no attention. I've been writing my entire life and it's something I was just born LOVING to do.
Describe yourself in ten words.
A. Honest, sarcastic, impatient, caring, verbose (to say the least), geeky, awkward, funny, shy, annnd short-tempered.
