“There’ll be a shooting today, Ms. Livic. Why don’t you go watch it?” Mr. Chu said convincingly arranging some files on his hands.

“I don’t think I should.” I replied with a small yawn as my eyes gazed around the meeting room and noticed several chairs were empty. The cold air seeps through my ears that make me want to sleep happily and dream.

I sighed and relaxed my back on my seat and took away some folders on the huge table in front of me. Just another day to love.

“You should go. You must not always be that busy-body every day. You relax there and give those folders to your secretary.”

“I don’t think I should. I don’t-” I said with my arms stretched to get away to the excessive long hours of work.

“You should.” He glared at me with his tiny eyes and quickly walked out of the room with a black bag on his hand.

I snorted angrily and gave a small yawn as I stood up and walked out of the room. I don’t really have any plan to visit the shooting because I’m sure I would just end up angry and irritated looking at the scenes that don’t even matter to me.

I was about to go to my office when suddenly someone called me from behind.

“Didn’t I tell you to go to the shooting?”

I was frozen on my track and my heart began to thump faster and faster. I’m really sure that that was my boss’ voice. Gosh. I really hope I could have just walked faster to reach my office.

I didn’t turn back but I could feel his eyes staring daggers back at me. I’m totally caught.

“So what? Aren’t you going to go there or not?” He said.

“Right! I’m going!” I said with conviction as my eyes light up and faced a serious-looking president with his arms crossed and his eyes like fire.

I’m really glad I was caught. Before he could say anything, I walked even faster with my head down and my papers on hand. I don’t want to give them to him either. I want to purposely have it for the meantime. I didn’t look at him or even turn my back as long as I’m safe. As always.

Finally, I was able to approach the elevator and sighed heavily. I wiped the small sweat on my forehead with my hand and was about to click the button when suddenly the elevator door’s went open and there stood two persons. A short, blonde, blue-eyed girl and a tall, blonde, brown-eyed boy who I guess were probably teenagers. I rolled my eyes and quickly went inside with no hesitation. The more that I get closer to them, the more I noticed they were both blushing but in the worst case, the girl got a lot redder than the boy.

I snorted angrily as they move to the side and didn’t look at each other but face the wall smiling like an idiot. Well, me of course, I stood between them. Wait. Why am I in the center of two people? And what the…Idiot.

I clicked on a button and the doors close in front of me. Silence was filled around the room as I felt my cheeks started to burn a little red as well as my lips curved nervously. Shocks, this is embarrassing!

Come on, Jovana! They’re tricking you! I thought as I even got more redder than a while ago and tightened my fists like I was about to burst. The thing is, I really don’t like people seeing me blushing or what. In conclusion, I’m ashamed if I’m weak. I have such a pride, right?

When the door was about to open, I heard the girl to my left chuckle as I got out of the elevator as I felt like gasoline over my head. Who the hell is that girl? Is she flirting? If that’s the case, I really wanted to teach her a big lesson!
