Chapter 1 - Drowning in You

   Bang! The hotel room door pounded open with Logan's foot following. Jake bounced in behind him, still somehow having energy from a long day. The two brothers had been causing chaos all day long at the first day of Vid-Con, of course vlogging every moment. They both plopped down onto their beds and sighed.

    "Bro... I'm so hungry. We should go get some food," Jake said, stretching out on the satin sheets of the bed.

    "Bro, me too," Logan jumped up, excited, "I'm so down for some Chipotle!"

     "Let's go right now! Let me grab my camera, gotta vlog!" Jake said as he reached for his camera on the mahogany table. Logan followed suit and they both tumbled towards the door, only food on their minds.

Logan reached for the golden handle of the door and quickly turned it down to open. His eyebrows furrowed when the door did not move so Logan tried his second attempt but to no success.

"The door not opening? Let me try, dude," Jake said as he pushes Logan aside to open the door. When the door didn't open, Jake threw himself against it in frustration.

"Bro, this sucks. I think we are stuck in here!" Jake said, his eyes fearfully looking back into Logan's.

       "If we hadn't of broke the damn phone for our stupid vlogs then we'd call for help! Dammit!" Logan said as he punched his fist into the steel door. Jake ran his shaky fingers through his blonde curls and slid down the door.

       "Logan... I'm scared. Like seriously. How will we get out?" Jake said. Logan rushed down to his brother's side and placed a hand on his hand. The attempt of comforting Jake worked as he leaned his head down on Logan's shoulder.

        "I promise we'll get out," Logan gently lifted Jake's chin up so he could look into his ocean blue orbs, "I'll always protect you, okay?"

"Okay. Let's rest for now then, I'm not hungry anymore. Just tired. Could you carry me to bed, please big brother?" Jake whined as he gripped onto Logan's shoulders. Logan easily lifted up Jake into his arms and they both slid into the bed together.

"Goodnight, bro." Logan whispered as Jake drifted off to sleep. The older brother wouldn't admit it but, he held a secret crush for his brother and this moment was pure paradise.
