Marked Ones

Prologue

There are humans born with tattoos on their body that give the ability of the animal they symbolize, these humans are called Marked Ones. there is even some Marked ones born to unmarked parents even rarer is Marked ones that are hybrids. As by human nature Marked ones are shunned, feared, and looked down upon. So Marked Ones have to hide their markings even though they don't like to. They have the animal instinct to have pride in their markings and hate having to hide their markings that are a part of who they are. So our story begins in a hospital room on June 16, 1998 with two unmarked parents waiting for their bundle of joy to be delivered but at the time the mother just wanted their child so she could hold it. They had waited for the birth to find out the gender of their baby. At 11: 15 pm, they had a beautiful baby girl though one thing they didn't expect was their daughter was a Marked One and not just any Marked One but a hybrid. They grew very concern what would happen to their daughter should anyone find out about her marks so as she grew she hiding her marks on her parents rules or no public school and back to home school. She quickly became known as the school loner and weirdo. But when she was thirteen her parents let her travel around the world to learn about other Marked Ones. And in three years she became the leading expert in Marked Ones. But when she was sixteen she came home to her family, her parents, brothers and sister. Her younger siblings didn't know about her being a Marked One. And this is the story of Sapphire Crescent Moon.
