Iris p.o.v
I woke up that morning with a sharp pain in my back. I got up a ran I fast but quitely as I can to the bathroom trying not to wake up Barry. I looked at myself in the mirror trying not to puke and ending up doing it anyways. I looked to the side and saw if lifting my hair, while rubbing my back gently. I got up of the door and walked out of the bathroom "so how's your morning", Barry said smiling. "Well besides puking my insides so for so good". "Well good", he said. "So when are we going to tell Joe", Barry said avoiding my eyes. I stood there flabbergasted forgetting about my dad and imaging what he would say." I don't know", I stated with a sigh. We have to tell him today, "invite my dad to dinner tonight", so we can get it over with it. The longer we wait the anxiety will shatter us both. "Alright", he said running his hands though his hair. But if your dad kills me its all on you. "Don't worry bar my dad won't kill you", I stated out. "sure we'll we about that", And he walked out of the room.

Barry's p.o.v

"I can't believe this", I said. I am now at C.C.P.D Capitan Singh told me that Joe was working on a huge case and for him not to be botherd. I ran up to my lab almost tripping to the ground I yanked my phone out of my pocket and clicked on Joes number "OK", I said to myself. All I have to do is text Joe and invite him over for dinner with Iris and I how hard can it be.

J: Joe b: Barry

B: Hi Joe so how's your day
J: what do you need bar
B: I just wanted to invite you to dinner tonight
J: why
"No, no, no Joe asked why what am I going to say to him", I thought of something to say back before texting him.

B: Iris and I wanted to do something nice for you have been working nonstop for the past few days
J: OK bar then see you tonight
B: OK bye
J: bye☺

I called Iris to tell her to get ready because Joe will be here soon.

I sat down on my chair my mind wondered off thinking of how the night would go. That I did not hear Captain Singh come in the room "Mr. Allen are you OK", he said looking at me eye. "Yup everything is fine", I said lying. "well a few weeks ago you past out, and now your day dreaming"
"I'm fine", I repeated again. "Its just that I don't want to say anything, until I tell Joe first". I looked at the celling until a very confused Captain Singh left the room.

That night:
"OK , did you get the ice Barry", um.... No?, he said smileing. And before I could say anything Barry came back with a bag of ice "now I have it", "OK", then we are all set then.

Ding dong,the bell went. "Joe is here", Iris walked to the door while pulling down her dress. "Hi dad", Iris said with a smile. "Come in", "were is Barry", he said looking a round the house. "oh he is still up stairs just getting something", "oh what smells so good"..."spaghetti", Barry jolted down the stairs "it just spaghetti", they all sat down on the table eating in silence until Joe Spoke out. "Whats up with you guys", "were so busted", Barry said to iris. "OK dad promise me you won't freak out", "well you telling me not to freak out is making me freak out", Joe said nervously. Iris and Barry looked at each other and Barry handed Joe an envelope. Joe grabbed it and quickly opened it seeing a a small paper he looked on the back it said Iris Ann West on the back. On the front he quickly realized what it is an a ultrasound "dad", he heard "I'm pregnant", Joe eyes started to instantly cry "your", iris nodded. She started to cry to Joe smiled happily at the paper."Your not mad", Barry finally spoke up. "No I thought I was for a second, but I know you two will be amazing parents, and plus I told you a few years ago "I can't wait for you to have kids so I can laugh in your face". They continued eating and enjoying the rest of their night.
