Dear Journal,
Today I was tasked with finding in myself what a soulmate is or means to me. You see to me there is no simple explanation or single word to describe a soulmate, that is what sets them apart from every other being you ever come in contact with. They are everything in one person and the one person you can see collectively in everyone that ever meant something to you. A soulmate can come into our lives in many forms, isn't just your partner, they are truly your BFF, literally, your best friend forever. They can be a lover, someone who you share those precious moments with that only belong to you. They are a comfortable shoulder to cry on but never a rubber crutch. They accept you and even the heaviest weight in tears, will never deter that dedication.
There is something beyond magical about the idea of a soulmate when you actually think about what that means, the immense value that they hold that goes beyond just the few word you'll read in the webster's definition. It can't be put into just words, so just like the bank spaces that fill in the spaces between words, although some may just see it as a void, empty space, but without that space, this is just a mess without meaning , just as in our lives our soulmate helps us make sense of everything around us. In every life that has ever happened or will happen, you find each other. There will always be someONE for you.That beautiful concept can make you feel much less lost and alone in this every increasing antisocial world.
A soulmate is someone you can tell all your deepest darkest secrets, someone that understands you to core gets your flaws. Someone that you can just joke around with and talk to without getting bored at will hold you close no matter where or what they're doing. Who will help you up when your feeling down. Their bright light helps you to the other side of the dark side. Soulmates help you help you forget about reality and what's real and fake about it. They can solve so many problems. But they will always know that your or them are perfect, because that's what makes you two unique. They blow their candles out to make yours shine brighter. You know when their upset,mad,angry,miserable,trobled and happy. You try not to make them disappointed in you. They help tell you and compliment you even if you don't see it in yourself. They would do anything for you and you the same.Doesn't matter if your old,middle aged they make you feel young and adventurous again. They're your peanut butter to your jelly,Twinkle in your eye. They walk into each other's life and completely obliterated each other's wall, like they belonged there. Like they always say falling in love is the second best thing in life, the first is finding that special someone.
