My Valentine [ Valentines Day Special ]

The bell rang, unfortunately, Virgil was oddly tired this time
The crowd of students stormed off to the cafeteria, congesting it
He sighed and shook his head... Why bother
Roman wasn't around in school, it was absurd if he was to be hiding
He tried to smile, the thought of Roman confused him

Should I be mad he isn't around? or should I be patient?

He walked alone to the table, still looking down, his stomach grumbling
Before he even sat down, there was a note

That wasn't there before..
He gently picked up the pastel green sticky note

Hey, go to the field, I'm waiting for you~

He snatched the note and ran to the field, his jacket was bouncing up and down
He was exhausted, he was losing breath.. till

"Surprise!"
Nobody was around, surprisingly
Roman was waving his hands standing on a picnic mat with his socks on
There was a basket that contained bread, plates that were filled with fruits
And a small pallet of bacon and eggs

Virgil smiled, he panted, under the shade of the trees
He marched up the mat, kneeled down to Roman and pinched his cheek

"Ow! Hey what was that for?"
Roman complained, rubbing his cheek
"For not showing at class"
"But this is supposed to be special"

Virgil got nearer to Roman's face, and snuggling his nose with Roman's
Roman smirked, his face turning red

"And thanks, by the way"
Roman nodded and patted the mat, telling him to sit down with him

Time passed and Virgil was laying his head on Roman's chest
"Oh, I have a gift for you"
"Is this the reason why you're late?"
"Maybe, how can you tell?"
"Because I saw your late slip in the trash"
"Nevermind that, mind this!"

He showed a comfy, black and purple, lousily sewn
"Ya like it?"
"I.. love it."

Virgil gently grabbed it, its fabric being held by someone special for it
"Well, why won't you try it on?"

Virgil didn't even hesitate, he quickly felt the cotton run across his skin
The sleeves were a bit longer than his black one, it was more comfier than the last
"Wow..."
Said Virgil, looking at himself at his new best
"So?"
"T-thanks.. I guess"
Roman suddenly pulled of a face of confusion
"N-not that I'm grateful for this, what I meant was.. I'm speechless"
Roman smiled, his eyes locked on Virgil
"Like, you didn't have to do this, this is... amazing? No still not it"

Roman went closer to him, Virgil was still arguing with himself to describe it properly
"How about-"
Roman cut him off... Virgil's heart was pounding
Roman leaned in and their lips were together
Their eyes were closing, enjoying the flow of the moment
The passionate prince finally pulled back

"How about.. beautiful?"
Roman said, waiting for a response
"Well.. I guess it is"
"No, I meant you"

Virgil's face went deep red, as he hides his face
"C'mon, let's go, its almost time"
Virgil stood up and cleaned up
"Aww, a bit more?"
"Nah, let's go"
"Fine.."

They fixed up the mat and hid it away in Roman's bag
The new couple had walked the hallways together to Science class

"Aw but I wanna ride with you later"
"Er- no, if my mom found out she'll kill me"
"Fair point"

Roman and Virgil has been sitting at the field, the field was always their get-away from reality
"Hey kiddos!"
Patton ran to them
"Kidd-os?"
Virgil asked, smiling
"Well, technically, Patton is older than you two, and I'm the eldest"
Logan said, fixing his glasses
"Anyways"
Roman smirked at Patton which made him confused

"We should play truth or dare"
Roman had a plan in mind

They all sat down in a circle
Patton gulped as he was sweating
It was Patton's turn

"Truth! Or dare...?"
Roman said excited
"D-dare"
"I dare you to do truth"
"That's absurd"
Logan added

"Eh"
"Fine..!"
Patton tightened his voice
"Who... do you like"
"Well.. um"

Logan seemed more curious and held Patton's hand
"Go on, you can do it"
"I like... the person that's holding my hand right now!"
Patton said quickly and shyly
"P-Patton, you didn't have to hide that from me"
Logan smiled
"R-really? You think so"
"Sure, love can come and go as rare as an emerald, and as delightful as you"

Patton can't help but smile joyfully, his mind overwhelmed
"By the way, did we just do truth or dare for me to confess?"
Patton asked
"Maybe, maybe not"
Roman giggled, rolling his eyes off
A star appeared on Logan and Patton's arm
They stayed up talking about the ridiculous things that happened to them before
Logan and Patton had journeyed home and left the others

"Oh, so you're name is Talyn? You're adorable!"
"Thank you, Mr. Roman"
"Er- just Roman"
Roman reminded, pulling off an awkward laugh

"Well then, we should get going"
Virgil tugged Talyn's sleeve
"Okie! Bye Mr. Roman!"
Talyn ran off without Virgil
"Its just..Oh nevermind"
"Don't worry, I'll remind her"
"Thanks again sweetie"
"Ew don't call me that"
"Anyways, take care now~"
"Thanks, bye!"

Virgil ran after Talyn and kept on reminded her its just Roman
They biked home and Virgil gave Talyn a meal
He went to his room when suddenly he noticed his mother, sleeping in the other room
Even if she abused him, he still loved her.
Because without her, they wouldn't have just did anything from today

"R O M A N.. get it?"
"But I like 'Mr. Roman' more!"
Virgil laughed and messed up her blue and pink hair
"Just eat kiddo"

His pocket vibrated
He took his phone out of his pocket and saw Roman's message:

Hello~

Virgil swiped his phone and huzzah, Roman wanted to call!

shit can't let her know

He immediately denied the call and texted him

Virgil
Are you insane? My sister shouldn't know and... stop socializing

Roman
Ahh I see.. oh, gtg cya

Virgil
Goodnight, love you

Roman
Goodnight, love you too

He switched it off, and led Talyn to bed
"Nighty big brother"
"Night"
