first love // yoonseok

part 1: hard "love"

we'll be at full bloom at the end of these hardships.

yoongi had just gotten back from school and was writing lyrics. he had heard that his girlfriend was hurt. she had gotten into a car wreck yesterday.

yoongi didn't know what to do. he didn't know how bad the injuries were. he didn't have the money to get a bus to the hospital to see if she was okay. it was a daegu hospital she was staying in currently. but yoongi didn't know how he could afford a ride. he couldn't even afford a decent meal.

he had been coping with his problems since the wreck. playing basketball and writing lyrics, doing whatever he can to get everything off his mind. he had social phobia. he would avoid any conversation if possible. he lost all of his friends. they always said something like, "he isn't loyal. his girlfriend is dying and he doesn't care!"

yoongi did care, but he never showed it. he didn't care about friends at the time. all he cared about was getting to see his girlfriend as soon as possible. even though his old friends told him "she doesn't even love you, dude. i saw her making out with another guy last saturday."

yoongi didn't believe the "lies" the other guys were telling him. he knew her as a kind and loyal girl.

he had been doing part-time jobs after school to earn more money. hoping to earn enough to afford a bus ride. even though the hospital was in daegu it was across the whole town. yoongi was lucky he had lived next to the school so he could just walk.

his parents had kicked him out. yoongi was rebellious at the time. he was. he regrets making the decisions he had made then. he loved his mom and father. but he never had a way of expressing or embracing the love. when it came to love yoongi didn't know how to define it.

he never had been in love before.

he may have a girlfriend but he doesn't love her. or so he thought he did. yoongi can be stubborn sometimes. he had heard that she was cheating, he didn't believe it of course. even though everyone was posting pictures of her kissing another guy in a car outside of some convenience store on instagram. yoongi still was with her even though he knew he should've broken up with her.

now he is sweating his ass off working to visit a heartless girl he thought loved him at a hospital. he doesn't know why he is exactly, probably he wants to prove everyone wrong. he's going to go to the hospital with flowers in his hands and a small smile on his face. and she's going to be there lying on a hospital bed with no one by her side but yoongi. and when she wakes up she's going to shower him with kisses and hugs.

yoongi had thought of it like that. even though he knew it would never happen like that.

it was a rainy friday night and yoongi had closed up the store he was working at. he had 671,000 won. it was enough to visit his girlfriend, pay rent and buy some food for the next week. he was happy with how much he had made in one week.

he was heading home, running on the pavement with a hoodie on. only the street lights lighting up the road and the moonlight shining on the wet concrete. he had bought ramen from a small store he goes to quite often. so he had a bag in his hand whilst running.

he eventually got home and took off his soaked hoodie along with his shoes. he cooked up the ramen he had bought and he let it sit for a while on the table. he went into his bedroom and changed into more comfortable clothing. he went back into the kitchen where he had his ramen and ate it. after finishing the ramen he heads into his bedroom and goes to sleep on his bed.
