"He's My Hopeless Romantic"

Chapter 7

     I took the ring, embraced him with trust and apologized for doubting Christian. Di pa ako makapaniwala na singsing ko 'to. It really fit my fingers, thus matched with Peter's. Aiden's ring was a cheap, piece of garbage to replace it with.

     Yun lang ang dahilan daw kung bakit siya dumalaw. Wala nang inilabas na iba o kasabihan kung saan niya nahanap. Parehas na silang nagpaalam ni Peter habang bumaba ang sikat ng araw.

     "Hey, I promise your dad will land safe."

     "-- Thanks Peter. See ya tomorrow."

     And then I remembered my relationship with him was just a dream. We were just best friends. I guess life wouldn't be that just easy at all.

     Nagising ako at rinig ang pag-iyak ni mama sa baba. The jet was nowhere to be found alas its whereabouts. I laid hope on myself as they might have landed safely on shore.

     May natangap si mama na text na dumeretso daw ang isang representative ng kamaganak sa airline office ng airport. Sa halip na ito, sumama narin kami ni ate para sa kaligtasan ni papa.

     I called Peter to as to inform him I was here. We sat outside as mama was already inside the offices. Sa matagal na proseso, may napansin nalang ako sa lalaking nakatitig sa akin. Sinusundan nanaman ako ni Aiden.

     "Hoy, akala mo kung sino ka ah. Tigilan mo na nga akong sundan!" Nilapitan ko siya at tinangal ang salamin na kanyang suot.

     "-- What are you talking about?!"

     "Wag ka ngang pa-tungaga diyan. Pa-iba ka pa ng hairstyle pati mag-glasses para lang hindi ko mapansin? You loser! Stop stalking --"

     Bigla pang may kumalabit sa akin ng matindi.

     "-- So I see you have met my brother." ... Aiden? What?

     "Who are you? Sino siya???"

     "-- Oh yeah, sorry for not introducing. This is my twin brother Daniel, from California. He just arrived now."

     "YOU HAVE A TWIN BROTHER?!" Oooh damn. Taray teh!

     "-- Duh. What do you think he is?"

     My eyes pondered upon Daniel. He really looked like Aiden up this point as his glasses gave touch to the spiky hair he had like his brother. I hope this doesn't mean double trouble.

     "Um, hi? I'm Daniel Pedrosa. Brother of Aiden Pedrosa?"

     "-- Sorry for the awkwardness Daniel. By the way, I'm Adrianna Torres. Nice to meet you by the way."

     My smile glared back at his friendly glance. Tumigil ang aming pag-usap habang siya'y pinakilala ko kay ate. "Hey ate, this is Daniel Pedrosa, twin of Aiden. Daniel, this is my sister, Ellyanna." Pati naman siya nagulat sa mukha ni Daniel, kamukha talaga ni Aiden. Wow, just wow. Sa munting kaalaman, may kambal pala si Aiden sa ibang bansa.
