There were once two young children named Christian and Madison. They were born into the royal family that ruled over the kingdom of Presidium. They loved to play in the courtyard of the massive castle, built by the king and eldest son just before the two had been born. The children would reenact battles fought by their older brother, for they adored him. The older brother, however, was as hard as stone when speaking with his siblings, as though not knowing how to act in front of them. He did, however, tell them stories of his time before the castle, in a time of dragons, angels, and brave soldiers.

"Those days, however, are no longer here," he said. "For they all reside within the forest, lurking like crocodiles in a river. You must never go there, under any circumstances."

The two agreed, for they would never disobey their beloved brother, but as they grew older, however, they realized how distant the Prince actually was to them and began to doubt his story. They believed that he was trying to scare them. One day, they secretly decided to go into the forest. When their brother, The Prince, went onto a great crusade to fight an enemy of the kingdom. The dark forest loomed over the children's heads as they approached it, like a great bird ready to swoop down and scoop them up.

The sounds of the forest could be heard from the fields that lay around it, but at the edge, it was quiet. It was as though it was holding its breath, waiting for the two children to enter. Silently, they walked inside, holding each other's hands. They walked deeper into the Dark Forest, growing more scared the deeper they went. So ancient were the trees that they were black with age, and the trees were covered in a green moss that sucked the color from the forest.

As the children continued into the forest, they began to hear the most beautiful music they had ever heard. It grew in volume as they approached a clearing, and they began to smell perfume and the sweet smells of flowers and candles. They saw many beautiful people, men and women alike, with slender bodies and long hair of various colors. They danced and sang, as beautiful as the best opera singers in the kingdom. They called for the young royals to come join them, and they did so.

They danced and sang for what seemed like only minutes, but suddenly, the sun had set, allowing the roaring fire to grow and the smells to enhance. The children began to realize what had happened here. The men and women had been so enthralled by the party that they had lost track of time, bound to an eternity of festivals and grand parties. The children decided to escape, and they slip into the trees around the party, going deeper into the forest.

The smells of perfume and flowers began to fade, and the children realized just how hungry they were. They had been at the party a lot longer than they realized, and they began looking for something to eat. The deeper they went, however, the more hungry they became. Eventually, they began to smell something.

It smelled like freshly baked bread, perfectly cooked meat, and the fruity smell of pastries. They rushed as fast as they could to where the smell was coming from, but stopped as they saw a vast feast set before a massive cooking fire. All around were large men and women, eating and cooking various meals of their liking. On the throne at the head of the table was a massive man, with a pig-like nose and an enormous stomach. He was so large that he was stuck in the throne. He ate and ate from the massive plates that lay in front of him, gorging himself with the endless supply of food. The children's stomachs growled, and the large man stopped eating and look up.

I hear the sound of rumbling bellies!

Come! Feed yourselves until you are content!

For in this feast, you will not make a dent!
