(A/N: Hi guys! Just a little rant before you start reading... It has come to my attention that one of my readers copied the synopsis and first chapter of my story. They changed a few things such as dialogue, spelling, and characters. They tagged me in the chapter claiming it was "inspired" by me. My copyright clearly states that my story is allowed to be distributed non commercially as long as no changes are being made and that I am receiving credit. This person deliberately copied my synopsis and first chapter, changing a few things. This person has not messaged me back and I have contacted wattpad. If you are inspired by my story and want to create your own and tag me, go for it. But please be original and make your own, do not copy and paste my story and tweak it. This is my story that I worked and continually work hard on. This isn't fair. Please make your own.)
Gracie walked into the Olympus Library the next morning with a smile on her face. The library was always her favorite place to go to when she wasn't training. Being surrounded by books brought her a sense of comfort even her own mother couldn't give her.
The smell of books engulfed her as she walked down aisle after aisle, looking for a book to read. The library itself is huge and airy, filled with books old and new. They cover any topic you can ever think of from History to Literature, the Arts, and so much more.
"Ah, Gracie, you're here a little earlier today I see," Gracie heard an old raspy voice behind her speak. She turned around and she saw Cicero, the Librarian. Cicero was a wise old man who spent most of his life as a god in the library, reading and spending his time imagining himself into different worlds with the words written in the pages. He was gentle and sweet, and always helped Gracie with any book she needed.
"Hello, Cicero," Gracie answered, "how are you today?"
The old god scratched his balding head briefly with his forefinger, "I'm quite alright. What kind of book are you looking for today?"
Gracie thought for a moment, "fiction."
"I have just the thing," Cicero said, "follow me."
Gracie followed him to a section of the library that showcased books of many different colors and ages. Cicero reached up on one of the shelves and brought down a hard covered book with minimalistic drawings etched on the front and handed it to her.
"The Original Folk and Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grim," Gracie read.
"It's quite interesting if I do say so myself," Cicero said, smiling at the young goddess, "I think you'll enjoy it."
Gracie nodded with a small smile, "thank you, Cicero, I'll start reading it now."
They bid each other goodbye and Gracie left, opening her book to the very first page and began reading as she walked. She didn't have a care in the world as she lost herself in the book, nothing else was there except the words written in the pages.
Jimin sat on the grass in the courtyard, admiring his surroundings when he saw her, a slight frown on her forehead as she read. She effortlessly avoided things that came her way as she walked, not once did her eyes leave the pages. He smiled to himself as he watched her. He loved it when she read, he loved how everything seemed to disappear around her as she became focused with the book in her hand. He wanted to approach her, but he didn't want to disrupt her peaceful mood.
"Could you be any more obvious?" Namjoon said as he sat down next to him. Jimin smiled softly before shaking his head.
"I can be as obvious as I want to be, she doesn't know a thing. All she knows are her books and her training," Jimin said, his eyes following her as she sat down on the grass.
