in a second the darkness invades
at covers all light
surrounds me with fear
i wish to cry out.
the world is in pain
my eyes fill with tears.
those innocent eyes
for ever are smeared
but hopes still exist
in all that are young
their choices will shape
tomorrows new dawn.
and so for today i'll hide all my pain
just hoping and wishing its not all in vain.
