His eyes traveled down to the counter, hands clenched tightly at his sides. He tried not to let the tears spill from his eyes, but they started to spill from his eyes without his consent. He gritted his teeth and refrained from screaming as he walked outside. It was night, and all he needed to do was to feel the moon's cold warmth to feel at ease again. The sunlight was not a friend of his, too hot and too bright at times, while other times its just annoying to look at. It's yellow orange glow was never as pleasing to the eyes as the faint blue shimmer of the moon. He walked around the yard, trying to gain his sense of control back, teeth already aching. He growled deep in his throat before settling down again, starting to slow his pace as well. He looked around warily, hoping no one was around to watch him. Seeing no one, he walked toward a house on the corner, rusted, dusty, and never once opened. Not by any other. Only he, and the man with light blond hair and ambiguous red eyes dared enter.

As he entered the house, he instantly became calmer, quieter, and more satisfied, as he always did when arriving. He walked over to the corner of the room, to find the man in his usual spot, a wine glass beside him on the table. He looked up at the other. "Again, the moonlight alone does not satisfy your needs?" he asks quietly, a small smirk forming on his lips. "I need the scarlet....The sunlight, it burns so intensely, even after its gone. I can feel it, awaiting my vision, so it can scar both it and my skin, as it did that first night. It....It frightens me....I don't understand." he whines and cries to the man, the only one that understands him. His gaze drifted down to the wineglass. "That's the only thing that seems not to be against me.....Beside you, master." he whispers, staring at the glass as if it were his savior.

"Ah, well......Maybe, that cold lifeless sustenance is no longer enough." the man says, standing. He flicks two fingers ahead of him. "Follow me, then..." he states quickly, walking down the narrowing hallway in front of him. The boy follows, curiosity gnawing at him. The man reaches a steel door, with several locks, which he promptly unlocks with more than one key. After entering the room, a stale smell reaches the boy's nose, and he scrunches it up slightly. "What is that smell...? It's...so intense...." he asks the man, looking up at him just slightly. The man shrugs, chuckling. "You'll soon find out." They continue to walk down this new hallway, until they reach a solitary cell door. He unlocks it, then gestures the boy inside. The boy walks in, eagerly awaiting ineliminable  severance from the dastardly sunlight he despises so greatly.

He then hears the cell door shut and lock behind him, the stale stench now stronger than before, and he turns and looks at the man confused. "I'll come back for you....After the sun has risen and set..." he points upwards, at the ceiling, which shows a clear roof, leading to outside, though impenetrable by force alone. The boy gasped and clung to the cell bars, too close together to pass through. "What are you doing?!" The boy shrieks. "You'll learn....I do not show sympathy, for those who choose to complain instead of breaking free of the rules, to solve the problem themselves." With that, he left, never to return. The boy glanced around, spotting the source of the stale scent that felt now amplified. Bodies piled in corners, skin an bone not yet decomposed, though crisp from the burns of sunlight.
