It had been quite a few weeks since Alex's last mission. From the depths of Cayo Esqueleto (Skeleton Key) and Point Blanc, he'd, frankly, had enough of all this saving the world and Alan Blunt. At school hardly anyone had even a small idea of who he was and if he was actually human. Obviously, Alex always wished for it to end. He was on his way home from what was probably one of the most depressing school days he'd ever attended. He had been wanting to come home for a long time and he was finally back. Moments went by, he eventually came home,
"Wow, I didn't know you'd actually come back after what must've been you're tenth mission," Jack said to Alex as he came through the door, "You would've had anyone worried by now."
"Except Alan Blunt, the darn person," Alex replied.
"Well, yeah."
"How's it been over here, Jack?"
"Oh, fine to be honest." Jack replied, "I think I must be the luckiest person alive to not have had this house tracked from your name by now."
Alex went upstairs and jumped into his bed. He'd hardly recognized it anymore, especially after what he'd been through, it was all too much for a 14 year old. He'd always wondered what happened here when he was away. It must've been so boring here. Anyway, he was home and alive.
