2. to pass over or go beyond ones limit or boundaries.

"Cass, where are we going thats so important, my cerfew is midnight" Sierra complained from the backseat of my brothers Explorer.

"WHAT?!, you still have a cerfew? Thats the funniest shit ive heard all day!" I laughed from the front seat. "Just seat back and relax, i'll get you home to mommy before cerfew"

"Okay, we're here, everyone out" James sighed as he clicked the button to unlock all of the doors to the car. "I'll wait here"

"What, ummm no, your coming with us" I commanded as I stepped out into the cool, musty air of the forest. It was already pitch dark outside, and the only light source we had at the moment was the soft glow of James' headlights.

I grabbed my backpack from the front seat and took out three flashlights for us to share. "come on we just have to walk a litte ways to get to our destination." I said and we flicked on our flashlights and made our way throught the dense set of trees. I could barely see three feet in front of me, the flash light wasnt helping much.

As soon as my surroundings became familiar, I quickly jogged my way ahead of the group, and into the clearing where I had planned the whole event for the night.

"Whats in the bag" asks Matt after I spread a blanket out across the ground and gesture for the five of them to have a seat.

"Oh, just something to have a little fun with" I smirk and so the fun begins.

Matts POV

I dont know what Cassie is up to but she best get on with it because i'm getting tired of wondering around this creepy ass forest. We are sat in a cirlcle on a blanket, when Cassie unzips her bookbag and pulls out some kind of board, as I shine my flashlight on it I make out the word OUIJA...

"Hell no, is that what I fucking think it is Cassie I am not fooling with this shit" I retort as I see a smirk inch across Cassie's face.

"Oh come on Matty! Dont be such a vagina" Cassie smirks.

"I am not fucking touching that thing, are you trying to kill us? Have you not seen the Exorcist!?" I snap at her.

I've heard too many scary stories about what happens when people play around with Ouija Board's and I can say none of them end well.

"Come on, you dont believe in that shit do you? It'll be fun" she begs

"Guys I just wanna go home, its getting late and my parents will snap my neck if I miss cerfew" Seirra whines from beside me.

"No, we will leave when I say its time to go, not all of you put your hands on this little triangle thingy while I ask these spirits in the forest a question' Cassie snaps

"Its called a planchette"  added Cara, who had barely said two words tonight.

"Right, planchette whatever, nerd"  Hissed Cassie.

I placed the tips of my fingertips on the smooth planchette along with everyone else. "Are there any spirits in these woods that wish to communicate with us?" Cassie coaxed. As soon as she said those words I felt the planchette slowly begin to guide its way to the word on the board marked "yes".

I looked around the circle in disbelief at my friends who all had shocked expressions on their faces.

"What is your name?" Cassie asked again. Slowly the small planchette began to guide our hands across the board until it stopped at the spot on the board marked "B" then it begin to guide us to the letter "i" and by the time the planchette had completley stopped moving from letter to letter it had spelled out the name "Billy"

We all looked at each other in complete shock as we tried to put together what had just happened, everyone had a look of terror platered across their faces, except Cassie who was sat across from me. She was making a face like she was trying to hold back from bursting into laughter.

"You bitch, you totally did that!" Sierra shrieked as Cassie burst out into a fit of laughter.

"I totally got you guys! You gullable fucks acually fell for it!" Cassie chortled between laughs

"I'll meet you guys back at the car" Siera sniffled, clearly trying to hold back tears. She stood up and began running towards the way we came, Cara getting up and running after her shortly after.

Cassie was sprawled out across the blanket still chuckling at her lame attempt to scare us. I looked up at Chris and James and raised an eyebrow. Why were even friends with this chick? I mean I know James doesnt really have a choice because shes his sister, but Chris and I could have broken up our friendship with this bitch at any point during our highschool years.

I stayed still waiting for her to finish laughing at us so we could all get the hell out of here. I stared down at the Ouija Board on still lying in the center of the blanket when all of a sudden the plancette started moving across the smooth surface of the board by itself.

"Um guys" I half whispered, my voice cracking because of what was happening before me.

I looked up at Chris and James to make sure I just wasnt seeing things, the look of terror on their faces confirmed that what I was seeing before me was actually happening.

The planchette guided across the board until it stopped at the letter "A" and then begand moving again stopping at the letters "S" and then "H", "T", "O", and finally ceased all movement stopping at the letter "N".

I looked up a Cassie who had a horrific expression spread across her face, telling us that this what not one of her stupid pranks.

"Ashton?" I whispered my voice small

Thats the last thing I remembered before everything else went dark.
