No, it's not like that. They aren't even friends yet- they don't like eachother like that. Aiden is having a bunch of problems in his life right now- and he lives alone. Nobody for him to lean on. Hearing another voice is relaxing for Aiden. Adrianna, although pretends to be confident on the phone, suffers from social anxiety. She has nobody to turn onto. She knows she can hide behind a phone, and that's easier for her. Right now, they are in the stage of becoming good aquantainces, and probably around the 10-17th chapter will they become friends.
