Hello Beautiful Wattpad readers! My name is Moe and I just wanna thank you so much for picking my story and supporting me throughout this process.
I just wanna give a little background on this story before I jump in with this first chapter
This story is about kassandra a young model ho lives in New York and gets targeted by the biggest human trafficking group in the country, but what these men don't know is that kassandra is under the protection of one of the equally biggest protection agency in the world... The Bonnet Queens
Now ladies and gentle men here is Bonnet Queens..
"Tilt your head to the left, YAS hold it right there" Jamila New Yorks' #3 photographer and the #1 most annoying in my eyes
"Tuck that tummy in KP, I can see half of that jelly donut you sloped down 10 minutes ago"
"YOU ARE NOT GIVING ME LIFE RIGHT NOW" He's currently throwing a fit, I mean full on stomping his feet, moving around to different angles.
"TAKE 5"
( kassandra right there^) honestly can't stand the near sight of that man or. Woman to be totally honest with you. I mean I don't want to give you life Jamila, I want to end your life. Kassandra Payne that's my name but the term KP is written on my fake little chair stand with a golden star that faded away months ago. I sit and watch as everyone's running around trying to please the He/She behind the camera. He yells orders and everyone in a 5 inch radius runs to get it. I mean C'mon, how many of you does it take to get a hot tea? I will never understand the ways of this industry, which also makes me wonder how I've managed to keep my job for a total of 6 months. Ugh, he's walking toward me, with a folder I swear if It's another damn diet plan I am going to have a heart attack. What I've learned about this field is that appearance is everything, yet sometimes it's not. There are people who will influence you to lose weight thinking that that's the standard, and then there's some people who think that since you are beautiful it honestly shouldn't matter and obviously I'm stuck with the jackass who thinks I need to be like a damn pretzel stick. not today I tell you.
"Jamilia Baby How are you," I screech in my way to high pitch white girl voice that I have mastered to a T, to trick people into thinking I actually care about their presence.
"KP aren't you a darling to ask, I'm quite fine shooting all your jelly rolls. Honestly, honey I love you tons, but-"
I swear I can smell the speech about dieting, carb counting and treadmills coming on right about-
" But did Genesis order you that treadmill, I told you about a few days back? With the body scanner that tells you where you need to lose weight, I swear it's the best thing 2016 has to offer."
She's talking, but I'm definitely not listening cause honestly if you're a model in this day and age and you listen to everything everyone has to do your either going to go insane or wind up killing yourself and that's just the plain truth.
"You know I'm just looking out for you honey, don't want you to fall off the wagon or something., just wanted to let you know you're done for the day and you can go home and do crunches and what not" She says in the nicest way I think he knows how.

I've only been in the city for 6 months, so riding the subway is fairly new to me and I've gotten lost quite a bit. But when I actually get on the right train I sit in the last subway car and start the time of day when I reply to all emails my publicist sends me. Shoots that don't matter: Erase, celebrity matchmakers: Erase It's only then when I notice this strange guy dressed way too good to be riding the subway.
Spanish skin that looks pale under the subway car lighting curly hair that has that wet look, but you know it's not wet, white collared polo shirt with a red suit over it, red bow tie, glasses that can pass as shades with red frames suit pants paired with shiny black shoes. Standing close enough that I can smell his cologne, expensive. This man is radiating power and I'm pretty sure that everyone in this car can feel. He's just looking. It's hard to tell with his glasses, but I can definitely feel his eyes on me. Meanwhile, I simply just pretend he doesn't exist and get off the subway a stop earlier. If I've learned anything from riding on the subway it's to not stare at anyone on the subway.
After 8 blocks of walking the very interesting and sometimes cringy New York streets. There's a creepy old guy who could be my father, Who knew catcalling was still a thing? Then you have the bold street workers covered in body paint and nothing else. Then you have the undercover cops trying to fit in the street life for information. A Lot of this stuff goes in LA but LA is not new York I don't think anything, any city, any place can ever be like New York and that's what makes New York so great you can never find anything like New York.
I make it to my apartment after just 25 minutes of walking. All worth it to get away from the creepy subway guy. I live by myself with my tiny black cat that I kinda adopted off the streets I live in a moderate size apartment deep in Manhattan you know where people jog in shorts in the winter, yeah, that place it a little too extravagant for my taste, But my favorite part is the view I have of the big apple it's amazing the city is a symbol that I made that I conquered if you make it here you can make it anywhere.
I don't really have friends right now in the city all I actually have is my job and now that I finished for the day there really is nothing left for me to do and it's already about 9 o'clock and it's my day off so I decide to treat myself to a bubble mask and hot fudge sundae with extra fudge, Fuck you Jamila.
