"Willow, can you hand me the peachy colored dress please, this green one makes me look like Shrek." Clara said in a frustrated tone. They've been looking for the perfect prom dress for almost 3 months now. Prom is still 4 months away, but they want to have the perfect dress.

"Yeah, the one with the ruffles and rhinestones on the top, right?" Willow said. "Oh, these would look perfect with cowgirl boots Clare" she shrieked.

"Willow, don't shriek. We're in the middle of a store. And yes, that dress but not the cowgirl boots."

"But, Clare they'd be per-"

"Maybe after I try it all, we'll see."

Willow sighed. That dress is a Sheri Hill dress and it costs 400 dollars. Clara would have to give up her riding lessons for months.

"Willow, oh em gee. This is the one." She said pulling open the curtain to let her best friend see the fabulous dress on her. "Gimme the boots" She said anxiously.

"Willow, you know me so well. Gosh, just look at the way it sparkles up top and the ruffles that go down to my knees with a train of ruffles in the back. And the boots, they're perfect."

"Clare-"

"Oooh, Willow there's even a matching clutch to go with it."

"Clara, it's 400 dollars and with the boots is 550. The clutch is also another 75."

"I would give up a million riding lessons for this gorgeous outfit Willow." Clara said. "I just want to look perfect for once."

"Okay, be honest. Do you think that Sam will ask me to prom?"

"Oh snap, you like Sam Finnow?!"

"Um. Yes, have you seem him? He's the whole package. Pretty face, sexy abs, wrangler jeans and nice boots. How could I not like the hottie?"

"I have someone in mind, but you won't like the idea so I'm just gonna keep to myself."

"Who? Clara Marie you better tell me."

"Okay okay, well, he's your um."

"Andrew?" willow shrieked. "I knew it, I knew it. Oh jeez. I wonder if he likes you too."

"Don't you dare even ask. I don't wanna screw things up between us. We've known each other since you an I met."

"I can see it now, a beautiful wedding, 2 gorgeous babies, me being an auntie, and you guys living happily ever-"

"Willow, don't tell anybody. I can't have this huge secret gettin' out."

"Won't tell a soul." she said. "wait, does my cat count?"

"He has a soul doesn't he? So um no, you cannot tell him either"

"Okay."

Clara and Willow bought Clara's dream dress, the boots, and the clutch. They walked around the mall for a while. They got Starbucks, Willow got some perfume from Bath and Bodyworks. They soon went back to the car to head home. All that was running through Clara's mind was 'what if she told Andrew that I like him, it'd definitely never happen'

Before they knew it they where already at Willows' parents house. Hopefully Andrew went to the barn for the evening so Clara didn't have to get so nervous knowing that he was in the room right down the hall. Andrew was old enough to move out, he just couldn't leave. But what was holding him back? He had a few more months of high school still but he always complained about wanting to move out.

"Hey Clara" Andrew said with his deep voice.

"Hi, how's the horses?"

"They're good, how are you?"

"I'm good." she smiled while trying not to look into his beautiful hazel eyes.

"I'm gonna head up stairs with willow." she said shyly.

"Alright, sweetheart."

She climbed the stairs and waved to him as she walked into Willows' room.

"Thought I'd leave you two alone for a minute."

"You are very mischievous woman."

"It's the only art that I'm good at ya know" she said grinning.

"Yeah, I noticed." Clara said "do you think he likes me?"

"Is it not obvious, he's had a crush on you for like ever."

"Really?" she asked looking out the window to see him drive out the drive way in his Black 4x4 Ford.

"Yeah, I mean, he's always shy around you, he gets nervous, he bites his lip when you walk away."

"Huh. I never noticed."

"'Cause he don't want you to notice."

"Oh."

"I can't believe in a few more months we will be full grown adults. I feel like just yesterday we where playing house and having tea parties."

"Yeah. I know."
