Hello Everybody! This will be my first story,(so please don't judge too hard lol) And it's for all of my friends, that support my writing when most people don't.

My story will be about Abbygail, a girl whose parents abandoned her at nine, but not by choice. Abby astral projected while thinking about her parents in her sleep when they left on a business trip, carrying her soul halfway across the world to see her parents murdered. The shock shoves her back into her body< wondering at the strangeness of this all. When Abby is fourteen she discovers a lot about her life; past, present, and future. Then also receives a Guardian (someone to protect her from harm and help her handle her life) from the Elders (people who tell time and have been there since the beginning of time.) Abby then finds herself confronting her parents murderer and ending up in a war to the death with him....and his huge ass army! But she knows how to take them out all at once. But if she uses it, does Abby dare try and probably tear the space time continuum, and if she does how does she fix it? You'll have to read and find out.(:

The Abandoned

Prologue

5 years earlier.......

I came home from school, tossed my books into Daddy's chair, and ran into the kitchen to get a glass of milk.

I don't see Mom in the kitchen, so I walk out back, and yell for her, "Mommy!" No answer, usually she's out here helping the cooks pick fruits and vegetables.

"Daddy!" I shouted, determined as ever to find them. I walk into the house, down the hall, up four flights of stairs, and stopped in front of their door. I knock, no answer. I slowly open the door and scan the room. Bed is still made, white carpet still vacuumed, but work clothes aren't here. Maybe they got caught up in work, but wouldn't she call? I walk over to Mommies make-up stand to use her phone, and i see a letter written in her pretty handwriting. I began to read

Abby darling,

Your Father and I have urgent business to take care of. If we don't return shortly, you may use the money jar on top of the fridge. Mommy loves you baby, stay safe.

So at least I know she and daddy will come home eventually, but what kind of business do they have? It's always hard telling with them. I go back to the kitchen and make myself a peanut-butter sandwich, get more milk. I walk to my lounge area on the third floor of the house, which I have entirely to myself; and ask my nurse, Nina, if she could make me a fire and put in "The Little Mermaid".

I fall asleep; I dream that it's a cloudy night, and there's a pale, really pretty girl who looks to be in her teens walking down an empty street in what looks like Paris. When she blinks it's full of people, she blinks again and it's all gone. Then a boy walks up, who looks a couple years older, and kissed her on the cheek. She hugs him and he takes her hand and I can feel her sadness and lost feeling subside. Two shadows walk up and, just as quick as they came, they went. I woke up suddenly, not knowing where that dream came from. I got a glass of water from the bathroom, sat by the fireplace, and eventually curled up and went back to sleep.

This time I had nightmare.

Mom and Daddy were in a car I didn't recognize. There's a man arguing with Daddy, in a language I couldn't understand. He got all red and puffy and jumped across the car and bit daddy like a vampire would. Mom started screaming and crying, she tried to pull the man off of Daddy and he turned on her and did the same thing. I was screaming and crying now. Though, no one could see me, no one could hear me. I was just a ghost. I woke up then, tears streaming down my face and soaking my pink tank top, knowing my parents were dead.
