"If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there and worrying. It's the worry that gets you, not the loss of sleep." - Dale Carnegie.

Yeah, so that's what I did. I went straight out the door at night and walked.... Just straight forward, going anywhere but not knowing where or when to stop. I moved to the United Kingdom a few weeks ago and enrolled to a school called Rossall School located in Lancashire, England. I live near the school so I guess I could just walk there and stop by.

Last year in New jersey, life was suckish. I got bullied and pushed around, got knocked down, typical things you get in any school in America. When I told my mom this and she thought of an idea of moving to England. At first I thought she was kidding but she really wasn't. Just like that, I was on a plane and into a new house. My father was there with us too, he took a job as a professor at the school and my mom went to work as a doctor.

In late September, I found new friends and joined some school clubs to keep me occupied. But I'm stil kind of a loner.

As i walk up near the gate of the school i saw a girl from my Biology class there. I start to go back but then she calls out my name.

"Matthew! Hey!" and I close my eyes tight. i really don't want to talk but she is quite nice so i'll just say hi.

"Hey," I give a slight smile, I didn't bother to say her name 'cause honestly I don't know it.

I walk slowly towards her.

"Why are you up so late?"  I ask and we both look at her watch, 11:31.

"I couldn't sleep, i worry to much." she answers.

"Worry always gives a small thing a big shadow." she nods.

"True, so why are you here?"

i shake my head to reply.

"I'm not sure, i live near by so i just decided to take a walk, why are you here?"

"Same...ha, that's weird.."

"yeah.."

"well I'm going to go back home, hopefully get some sleep. see you tomorrow!"

she walks away and waves.

"Yeah see you tomorrow." i smile at her and walk away.

As I leave, something from behind pushed me face flat on the pavement. "What the hell?" i muttered. I look up and see no one except a fuzzy blue light. I honestly thought I was dreaming.. it felt like one anyway. At night I would get woozy and my eyes get watery. I get up and brush off thedust on my shirt. I stare at the weird light in front of me and try to reach for it but it moves farther away.

As much as i come close to it, it still keeps its distance from me. I start to run after it, which was a weird reaction, but then it brings me to an open field. "Alright. Who's up to this?" i yell. No one answers, except the echo of my voice. "Okay, this is crap! I'm going home!!" I fall again and push myself up aggressively. I can't keep calm anymore, "Who- What the hell?! WHO DID THAT?!" I yell again.

Suddenly the blue light rushes towards and I fly in the air. It's like everything became slow motion, a big flash occurred then cars started to alarm, lights turned on and people rushed out of their homes to see what happened.

I looked at my side and noticed the blue light was there to hold me up in the air and dropped me on the ground.... again. That night i did fall asleep, but not exactly how I planned.
