My name is Hannah, and I am the youngest of four kids. I have three brothers; Devin, Grayson, and Landon. My sister's name is Blake. My parents; Kierstin and Kaitlyn are both kind, loving, and talented mothers. If you are wondering, yes I have two mothers and I'm not bothered by it at all.
Life has been wonderful, but it was missing something. Not just anyone could fulfill what I was missing besides the opposite sex. All girls can relate because we have all been there. I was missing a special someone to love and care for, a significant other. If I was going to fix this difficult situation then I was going to need the perfect guy. I was definietly not about to date any guy from school because the guys at my school are so immature. The guys at my school still giggle and laugh when we have mature dicussions in health class.
Later on in that week, I overheard two preppy girls talking about their relationship status in chemistry class. I heard one of the preppy girls suggest online dating to her friend. She continued on about how she went to the mall with a guy she met online. She told a long story and how the two are now an amazing couple. The girl's advice didn't seem that safe, but it was a start.
After school I logged on my laptop's app store and downloaded a few online dating apps. The first three apps were a little difficult to use. I started to give up on the whole idea. A notification appeared on the bottom right corner of my screen. There on my screen was the last online dating app that I was willing to give a shot. I scrolled through and not to many caught my attention.
I recieved a suggested list of guys I should friend. I scrolled through the long, annoying list. There was one guy that stood out from the rest. He seemed to have tons of girls commenting on his pictures, especially the shirtless photos. I'm not gonna lie he was absolutely stunning. The man of my dreams was named Mike, he was eighteen, and had a beautiful house.
I friend requested him hoping he would notice me, but I had a strong feeling that he would look right past me. Around nine at night there was absolutely no notifications not even for any orders from my merchandise website. About around three in the morning, Mike accepted my request and messaged me. We texted all morning until I had to go to school. Everyday after school was dedicated to talking to him. Mike would turn my terrible days into extraordinary adventurous life stories.
We talked from seconds to minutes. Minutes turned into hours. Hours soon to be days. Days waiting to be weeks. Weeks that will one day be months. I felt so much love for this one guy that I simply haven't met once in my whole entire life.
My birthday is coming up in a few weeks. I hope to be able to spend it with the man of my dreams. After all that is my absolute wish, to meet Mike in person. It's pretty upsetting to always have amazing plans turned down due to Mike studying for his classes, or babysitting his younger sister. We live in the same town, but its funny that we never ran into each other anywhere. Especially since this town is tiny.
I was done playing his little games. I was losing hope in us. I always was the one making the plans and Mike would just agree. Mike never was once the one to come up with any plans of meeting up. One day things changed I recieved a text from Mike with one of the most extravagant news ever. Mike had asked me to meet up in person at a party that his friend, Peyton was throwing on Saturday.
Tonight is Saturday, the night of the party. I'm so nervous to meet Mike that I'm literally shaking just thinking about it. I just hope it doesn't end up like all the other plans we had, and I hope i don't do anything stupid or screw anything up. Tonight will be the very first party I will have been to.
