Everything Has Changed

     "You may have been wondering 'What has Beau been up to lately?' Well to answer your question, I've left buzzfeed, and I started creating content for this channel." I say smiling into the camera, now the last time I was in front of a camera I was a mess, a poster image for the symptoms of depression and anxiety. "This channel is going to a little bit of everything really, and a lot of vlogging. So I hope you're ready to join me in my crazy life, and see a side of Eugene Lee Yang, that you probably haven't seen"
As if it was planned Eugene walks into my office.
"Hey Beautiful, I'm going to the store do you need anything?" He asks before kissing my forehead, causing a giant smile to spread across my face.
"No, I think I'm okay, honey" I smile.
"God I love you and that smile of yours"he smiles back before kissing my lips once quickly and leaving again.
      
       So. You're probably a little lost, well as it turns out the guy Eugene was talking to was a P.O.S and not worth Eugene's time, and they only spent like a month together and Eugene and I have been a couple for the last two years now. And I've never been happier, or loved anyone the way I love him. I couldn't ask for a better other half. We're completely obsessed with each other and have been since day one and hopefully will continue to be. 

     So I held on to my source of happiness and look where it got me! I've NEVER been so happy. When I'm with him he makes everything okay, he makes me feel like I've never been broken, like I'm normal, like I can do anything and everything, like nothing can stop me. I finish recording my introduction video and start editing it, I'm almost finished with it when Eugene comes home.
"Baby!" Eugene yells I get up and run downstairs to him latching myself to his torso, his response, set the bags down and hug me back before tilting my head up towards him and kissing my lips his hands in either side of my face. This is literally perfect.
"Did you miss me?" He asks after he pulls away.
"Only every time you leave" I smile. He returns it.
"Let's get this food put away and I'll make it up to you" he says letting go of me picking up the grocery bags, I take a couple of them and follow him into the kitchen I begin putting things away leaving all of the things that I know I won't be able to reach for Eugene to put away. Then our night is pretty much going to be the same as every other night we'll make dinner together, we'll eat together, we'll take the dogs out on their nightly walk, we'll watch some television before we cuddle up together in bed and sleep. It's like we're stuck in this cycle of happiness and perfection. Neither of us getting bored because we always have something to talk about. Always.  I finally found my happily ever after, nothing could make this any better.
After we get home from our walk Eugene turns and looks at me as we stand on the front porch.
"So Beau, I was going to wait one more year, but after this last couple of months I knew, and I knew that it would be foolish to wait that long" he says and he gets down on one knee.
And I'm speechless.
"Beau. Will you marry me? I know that marriage won't change anything about us but your last name, but it's a change I hope you're willing to make you've made me the happiest I've ever been, and I meant it when I said you're my everything. And I'd be lost without you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you as Mr. and Mrs. Yang," he says and I'm tearing up at this point, like I knew he loves me but I didn't think it was this much; I nod answering his question and lean down to kiss him he wraps his arms around me and picks me up holding me against him.
This man truly is the love of my life, and I'm so blessed to have him by my side❤️
