Chapter - 1

Naksh and keerti were married for about three years by then. They had faced many problems in their marital life. But finally as they were meant to be together, they made it through all odds.

In singhaniya sadan,

In a room a couple were peacefully sleeping cuddling each other. As sun rays touched them, the man slowly woke up finding his beautiful wife sleeping peacefully in his arms. She looked even more beautiful in her baby bump. She was 8 months pregnant. He gently kissed her on her fore head.

Naksh: Good morning love. he said

Keerti: Morning naksh she said with a big smile while she cuddled more into him. He then went down to her baby bump and kissed it carefully enough without hurting her.

Naksh: Good morning princess he said after kissing her bump. Keerti simply smiled looking at her husband who cutely was talking to his child.

Keerti: How do you know its a girl?? It is going to be a boy.

This was the topic these two always fought over cutely. It was fun for them.

Naksh: I know its going to be my princess.

Keerti: Ok ok. now come lets get ready family might be waiting for us. saying she went to get ready. Naksh was sitting on the bed recollecting the most beautiful period of his life. He recollected all the memories from when he got to know he's going to be a dad and all the 8 months that they had been together. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him. She had given him the best gift of his life. He still couldn't forget the feeling when he got to know she was pregnant with his child.

Flashback**

A few months back naksh was in krishna. He was preparing for an important meeting. He saw keerti there.

Naksh: Keerti, you here?? What's the matter? you seem so tensed.

Keerti: Naksh actually i have something to tell you.

Naksh: Keerti i have an important meeting. Lets talk after that.

Keerti: But its really urgent. We have to talk now. Please understand.

Naksh: keerti.... ok please tell me fast.

Keerti: Naksh.. wo...I wanted to say that

Naksh: c'mon keerti, please say it fast

Keerti: Naksh,.. you are going to be a dad. I am pregnant. She said it all in one go.

He stood rooted in his place listening to her. It took him some time to realize if it was really true or was he dreaming. She shook him bringing him back to his senses. Both of them had tears of joy in their eyes.

Naksh: I am going to be a dad?? Really, he was so happy, he lifted her in his arms and twirled her. They hugged each other. Thank you. Thank you so much keerti. I can't tell you how it feels. I am sooo happy. I love you. I love you so much. Saying this he kissed her on her forehead.

Keerti: I love you too naksh.

**** Flashback ends.

He heard keerti call him. Naksh go and get ready fast. Its already late. she said as she was getting ready before the mirror. He went and hugged her from the back.

Naksh: You know what after a month or so, we'll have a baby. our lives are going to change, but you were, you are and you will always remain my first love. Even after the baby comes, i promise my attention and love for you will not be reduced. I promise to remain the same .He kissed her forehead. She hugged him. She had tears of joy. He always told her he loved her but this confession nearly moved her from her soul.

Keerti: Thank you so much naksh. I was scared. But how did you know that i was thinking about this??

Naksh: You know what dear, i know you more than you know yourself. I could read your fear in your eyes. But i just want to see my wife happy not scared. He kissed her eyes wiping off her tears. I love you he whispered softly into her ear.

Keerti: I love you too she said. They hugged each other tightly.

Naksh: So now promise me you are not going to hide anything from me. And stay happy.

Keerti: I promise. She kissed him on his cheek.

He then got ready and both went down for breakfast.
