Chapter Fourteen

             _Chapter Fourteen_

        Then and Now.

I ran and ran tell my legs couldn't hold my body any longer, I fall to the hard ground with a loud 'thud', I look around to see I'm in a field of nothing but dead flowers, wheat and brown grass speading over the vast abonadoned feild ...wait...no, this can't be!

        "Richard! slow down." I exclaim chasing my brother into a field. He suddenly stop right dab in the middle and looks around.
        "Do you like it, There are so many flowers." He asked putting his hands in the air and started to spin around.
        "Yeah I like it a lot." I say looking around as well.
I fall to the ground my brother doing the same, we both just lay there in silence looking at the beautiful blue sky with very little clouds in it. A could of minutes later  we heard a loud 'bang' noise. Richard shot up searching for the source of the sound. His eyes landed on something in the rows of wheat that surrounded us. My eyes caught on to something moving to us.
        "Bell, go now." Richard said in a low voice, his ody tence.
        "No, I'm staying." I say stubbornly. crossing my arms around my chest
        "You need to go. Now." Richard demanded, in almost a growl.
        "No I'm stayi-"
        "Well if its not Richard." Some ones voice said cutting me

        "What do you need, Kevin" Richard said sounding bored, but my brothers hazle eyes told me he was scard.
        "Well who is this pretty little lady?" Kevin said looking at me, completely ignoring Richards question.
        "My little sister...Bell." Richard said carefully.
        "Well she is just so pretty. How old is she." Kevin asked looking at me like I was  piece of meat.
        "15, why?" Richard asked eying him, with a certain glint in his eyes.
        "Ohh only a year younger than me...Ill see you around beautiful." Kevin said with a charming smile playing on his handsome face.
        "Am I the only one who heard someone get shot?" I ask with sarcasm.
        "Well sense I was the one who got shot at, I should know."Kevin said with even more sarcasm eyeing me with a smirk.
        "You don't looked like you were shot." I say defencely.
        "Well they missed, Duu" Kevin said
        "What ever." I say rolling my eyes.
        "Bell,we need to go." Richard said standing up.
        "Okay lets go." I say hopping up off the ground.
        "Leaving so soon?" Kevin asked with a hint of annoyence in his voice.
        "Yes, bye." I say starting to walk off, I turned around and threw a cocky smirk his way.
        "Bye cuteness!" Kevin called after I walked pass him.

I look around to see dead flowers and wheat everywhere. I start to cry harder remembering that I don't have Richard to save me again, he was dead, just like all the plants in this feild. What can I do to get out of this, I cant go to the police then I would get into trouble, and I cant go to my mom, this would get her into things and the less she new better. What the hell am I supposed to do? I got up and started to walk home, by the time I got home it was right as school got out.  I open my door to see an empty house. I walk up to my room and go to my closet. I get out 2 suit cases and put them on my bed. I put almost all my clothes and underwear in one and shoes and bathroom things in the other. I grab my back pack and stuff all my chargers and my i pod and phone and my laptop in it as well. Once I finished I called Gina to come pick me up. I waited out side my house tell Gina pulled up. I hopped in her car after throwing her bags in the back of her beat up honda, and buckled up. We drove to the now dead meadow I was at only hours ago. Once we got there we both got out and grabbed my things. I slipped on my back pack and grabbed one of my suit cases while Gina grabbed the other.
