Chapter 12

Ashley's P.O.V

When we got back from the hospital i went to bed.

i woke up around 2:30 am to a loud *BANG* outside. i got up and looked out my window to see a dark figure moving around in the driveway. i ran out of my room and into Niall's.

"Niall wake up." i said while shakeing him

"What?"

"There is someone outside."

his eyes lit up and he was alert immediatly.

"Go wake the other guys up."

i left his room and woke Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and Bella up. When i went into louis's room he pulled a Pistol out from under neith his bed.

"Do you know how to use that thing?!" i asked

"No, but i'll find out."

i looked at him "Louis, give me the gun."

"Do you know how to use it?"

"Louis, im the best shooter on my side of the family, not including harry."

He pondered my words for a second then handed me the Pistol. we walked back out to the hallway where everyone else was standing.

Niall: "What is that?" he asked pointing to my hand.

"A gun."

Harry: "Where did you get it?"

"Louis's room." i went down stairs and everyone followed.

"Shhh." i pushed one finger against my lips.

i walked over to the bay window in the living room and looked out it. i felt like one of charlie's angels sneaking around and holding the gun like i was. everyone stayed at the stairs. there was no one out front now. We heard a loud crash come from the kitchen. everyone looked at me. i slowly crept towards the kitchen. i held the gun out in front of me aiming it in the direction the crash came from. i reached the kitchen and leaned against the doorway. i slowly looked into the kitchen. Bella was standing on the other side of the doorway with a baseball bat. i signaled for her to turn the light on. i walked into the kitchen aiming the gun. there stood Molly Jones at the French doors, un armed that i know of. she started to come towards me. Bella was standing beside me.

"Come any closer and i'll shoot you. Someone call the cops."

she stood with her hands in the air. Bella never moved from my side.

Molly: "Please you dont really know how to use that thing."

the gun wasnt loaded, but i had a bullet in my hand. I loaded the gun faster than you could say "help".

Molly: "ok maybe you do know how to use it."

"Ya think?" i asked sarcastically.

Liam walked up behind me.

Liam: "Cops are on their way."

i nodded and said to molly- "Put your hands against the wall."

she backed up until she hit the wall. she turned around so her palms were on the wall. the cops were at the door in seconds. Harry let them in. They walked in, Grabbed molly and put her in hand cuffs. i put the gun down and unloaded it. the cops led me to the living room and sat me down to question me.

cop: "What happend miss?"

"Styles."

cop: "What happend miss Styles?"

"Well i woke up to a loud banging noise, i looked out my bedroom window and saw something moving around in the driveway."

cop: "Then what?"

"Then i went in and woke everyone else up."

cop: "Where did you get the Pistol?"

"When i woke Louis up, he pulled it out from under his bed. he didnt know how to use it so he gave it to me."

cop: "do you know how to use guns?"

"Yes. My dad taught me when i was 12."

cop: "What happend when you came downstairs?"

"I walked over to the Bay window, gun in hand, and looked out but i didnt see anything. then we heard the noise coming from the kitchen."

cop: "Where did Bella come into this?"

"When i snuck over to the kitchen she was on the other side of the doorway with a baseball bat."

cop: "Ok. what happend when you turned the light on in the kitchen?"

"Well i saw Molly standing by the french doors. i dont know how she got in. but then she started coming towards me, so i told her if she came any closer i would shoot her."

cop: "ok. you did the right thing by saying that. but if she would have gotten any closer would you have shot her?"

"No. but i know that if she would have attacked me one of the boys or bella would have gotten her off of me."

Cop: "Ok. you did a good thing to miss Styles. most people would've protected their family/friends like you did tonight."

he smiled and got up.

cop: "And dont worry about molly, she wont come near you anymore."

He walked out of the house and left us alone.

Everyone came over and hugged me.

"Happy birthday to me..." i mumbled.

They all got up and Bella came from behind me.

Bella: "That was freakin Amazing Ash!! i could kiss you!!"

"please dont!!!"  i yelled.

everyone laughed. by time evryone settled down it was 3:30. we all double checked all the windows and doors before we went back upstairs. i asked Niall to come sleep with me just incase. he said yes and we went into my room. I kissed him on the cheek and fell asleep.
