it's the first chapter, hey.

except that it's not a chapter. more like a foreword, intro thing. oh dear.

(should this be put at the end? i'm not even sure)

so i'd like to express my thanks to my friend madhu, who's really sweeter than her name. we sprouted this idea together, although i hacked and butchered it to become the mess it is now- i am sorry. i'd also thank some people (who shall not be named) whose personality quirks i've stolen into this story. and then my mother. for everything she'd done for ever.
